The HKS GTRS has always had good results.

The A'PEXi AX53B70 is another one, its basically the equivelant to the GTRS

Both are good for the 250 to 260kw range.

You could also highflow your standard turbo and expect around 230 - 240kw

These will all bolt onto the standard manifold and won't give you lag and then a massive wave of power like the GT35R will on a 25.

no need to go high mount bud, waste of time and money on an internally stock motor. and a 35/40 may very well be the worst turbo choice you could make on an internally stock engine. as has been said already, a gtrs bolt on kit would be prime, if your after a bit more poke go a 3037. if your workin to a budget, get a highflow stock turbo

Buy my KKR430! I need it gone!

Check my link out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...l&hl=kkr430

what brand is it mate.

a mate has got a new t04e for sale what kw would u see with that

I'd recommend the HKS GT2530 for a good balance between power and response - just not the price!

The HKS GT2530 Kai Bolt-up Kit for the R33 cost me about $3.5K to import in the last month or so - not a cheap option but works for me and exactly what I needed :-)

why do u say no need for a hi mount

I run the HKS 2535 and puts out some good power!!!!

You also have to remember that you can only boost so much on a stock engine anyway so there's not much point pushing anything past 14 - 15psi. That'll get you around the 230 - 240rwkw mark!!!!! Then fuel becomes and issue. U'll need bigger injectors.

highmount is a waste of time...

1 - cop magnet

2 - on an internally stock engine your not going to be putting out numbers that make the standard manifold a real restriction

3 - cop magnet

4 - expensive for virtually no gains

i'm running an hks 2835 pro s - expect 260-280 rwkw's depending on motor/mods/tune with near stock response.

you will need ecu, injectors, afm, fuel pump, fmic and clutch minimum

i got one sitting around i got cheap awhile ago so thats why i was gonna put it on

whats the hks 2835 pro s worth and whats the specs

what would u pay for a hks 2535 turbo custom dump and front pipe and all oil and water lines made to suit a r33 second hand min shaft play. what would one cost for a rebuild any way mate

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
