Bump for a great thread!

I just got mine done today and as follows

gts-t

f/r - 245/45/17 ku36

Purpose - touge mainly then street but with compromise for tire wear.

Front:

Castor 7 deg

Toe out 1.4mm total (0.7mm per side)

Camber -1.5 deg per side

37psi cold

Rear:

Toe in 1mm (0.5mm per side)

Camber -1.2 deg per side

35psi cold

HKS springs f/r, bilstein shocks valved +25%, stock sways.

Really like how the car drives. Turns in good, very good mid corner front end grip. Rear end is nice and predictable with lots of feedback.

I have been searching for about an hour but the only info i can find for factory wheel alignment specifications are for R32GTR/R34 Service Manual as per attached image i made, does any one know what the standard wheel alignment specs are for an R34 GTR V-Spec?

Too much negative camber on the rear -1 is plenty

You also have basicly no toe on the rear. Toe it in 1mm each side

Front get a set of adjustable upper arms and set the camber to neg 1.5

Toe it out 1.5-2mm each side on the front, you'll notice the turn in will be alot sharper

What would be the perfect setup in wheel alignment for a R33 GTS-T which is mostly used on street , but has good handling & can stick to the road well when u take it for a nice hard drive in the mountains ? What setup would be good with camber front & rear , Toe in , Castor , ect ? This weekend i'm fitting adjustable upper camber arms front & rear , front adjustable tension rod arms & bar , hardened tie rods with KTS tie rod ends , Adjustable rear tow & traction rods aswell . Help with alignment specs would be much appreciated :) Cheers

any GTR recommendations? recently had one done and the rear end feels super twitchy on sydney roads. looks like a lot of toe in with about -4 camber (camber arms bought already) on the rear and about -2.5 camber and slight toe out on the front. this is from a visual inspection

Start looking for gearbox conversions if your hard on the gear. Now I've been there and done that with rb powered street car (2007-2022) much prefer newer stuff. Anything 90's Japanese is not a great experience these days and highly over rated. My 2015 Brz with a heap of suspension mods is such a better car even with out the power of my old s chassis' even on track. If wanting to play light chassis and decent power for a  giggle a k swap 86/brz would be the go Check my old build for engine stuff I really need to pay attention to post 2016 BMW stuff but seem all very heavy 1600+kg
    • I mean, the 240i is not a Supra... make it drop a few hundred kg, have a sportscar chassis, clearance for wheels etc... Maybe I want a hardtop Z40i XDrive or something :p I do agree with you though and have long said the B58 Supra/240i/340i/440i is the new R Chassis/JDM90's turbo rocket for mod lovers to ... not always appreciative response lol. Doesn't make it not true though.
    • I will do the build myself but I will be paying for the tune because I don't know how much about that and would rather it be done right and by a professional
    • Will you build and tune it yourself or do you need to pay for labour?
    • Mechanically that's essentially what the M240i is, it's just not pretending it's not a BMW
