ya not f'n wrong!

I'm totally sick of these one eyed poms, and the producer who said it's ok to cut to Jensen during our national anthem needs to be bent over by a big red 'roo. Like sure, congrats on the championship, but Webber WON THE DAMN RACE!

Concur, there is no headline saying anything remotely to do with Webber winning...typical

I'd rather Jarno keep racing than Kazuki! Speaking of which, I'm beginning to think Heikki is quite the hack, and putting all Finnish drivers to shame...

Worst driver/s of the year awards:

Kovi.

Kazuki.

Piquet.

your kidding... only now your coming to that conclusion about heikki?!

what the fuck races have you been watching where he's putting in these sparkling performances?

EDIT: After a quick check, he's still yet to pass massa on the WDC's standing ffs. If he's not out next year ill be stunned

I should have typed that differently. Before I was kinda thinking maybe he is just a little bit of a hack, but now I realise he is an almighty out and out hackstickle.... DOES NOT DESERVE MCLAREN SEAT!

Button shows a bit of "tool factor" ... i deserv the championship, i was the best over the season???? Arrogance makes the champiosnhip. Have to say i was rooting for ol Rubens. He was there driving the wheels off the car when it was a POS as Honda, and Button was just collecting pay slips.

Button had a cracker of a start to the season, Rubens had a slow start, but from around Silverstone-Germnay found his qualy feet and had the better end of the year.

All in all you cant win 6 of the first 7 races and not win the WDC, though Button thought he would make it look harder then most would have.

Webber, oh well, 4th in the Championship and you cant help but wonder is this the only time he will be driving one of the 4 fastest cars on the gid, and get beat by the pilots of the other 3 ;)

I liked Jenson's interview afterwards...Pal you MIGHT'VE been the best for the first 5 or 6 races but you sucked for the rest of the season!!

You can thank the all the wonderful knobheads who changed the points scoring system! IMO the current points system is bullshit and they should go back to the 10/6/4/3/2/1 system that rewards drivers for actually going after a win.

Anybody care enough to post the points if they were under the old system?

yeh i was bored :P

Jensen Button - 77

Sebastian Vettel - 59

Rubens Barichello - 51

Mark Webber - 49

Lewis Hamilton - 38

Kimi Raikkonen - 33

So the change in point system had no effect on the outcome.

Congrats to Button. He is a smooth and consistent driver.

Congrats to our man Webber for his 2nd Grand Prix Win. That's another big trophy for the pool room!

Button was very lucky the last half of the season.

He drove well at the start, when the other cars got better he was no where, how many of the last 7 races has he won ?

or been in the top 3 ?

i dont think many people will remember this yr for the championship or driving, more for FIA and F1 stuff ups with all the politics, new tech, rules and controversy.

Bring on next year !!!!

Amongst all this button hysteria

bernie goin off his nut again lol

The last race he won was the sphincter of the universe, and hasn't been on the podium since (nine races ago)

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
