Ok Heres the deal. Bezerkly Automotive are willing fabricate custom oil pans to suit RB 20 & 25 in R32 & 33. Rb26 Rear wheel drive only. (Sorry no R34 for now) You will need to supply a sump. For those who have an RB25/30 possibly also RB20?? this should be as simple as visitting a wrecker and sourcing an old RB30 sump for $25-50 as they are basically the same.

Heres a quote from BezerkR32:

The pans are extended 5mm lower but do not sit proud of the engine crossmember. They have wings extended on either side which hold an additional 1.5litres of engine oil. The pans also retain the factory windage tray. Standard sway bars etc still clear.

Pictured is a circuit style pan with pick up baffle to control oil surge under braking and also gates to control oil surge during cornering. The gates allow oil flow towards the pick-up but not away from it. The pans also can have a cylinder head oil return fitting fitted if required.

These pans are ideal for the modified street car or social track day enthusiast.

Pans are supplied on an exchange basis and take about 7-10 days to fabricate.

Heres the basic good points:

# They allow you to still run a sway bar

# They clear an aftermarket front chassis brace

# They do not hang down below the front cross member

# The Factory Undertray can still be used

# -8 or -10 fittings can be supplied on the side of the sump allowing you to run an external drain to sump, temp sensor etc.

Cost is $500 + Delivery if needed.

very nice looking sump. any serious skyline with decent power is worth a good sump. for info a trust sump is way, way over $1000 by the time you buy the extension and have it professionally welded on. this is good value for a enlarged and baffled sump. :D

so do i need to scource an rb30 sump for my 25?

You can send them the sump off your car if you want. They are done on an exchange basis so you will need to supply a sump and Bezerkly will modify it and return it. RB30 sumps are cheap and easier to source than RB25, so If you need to keep your car on the road I would suggest getting one to be modified.

Dori32,

They dont not sit any lower than the cross member.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
