hey

just put my car up on this site and it seems really good and i hope to sell it so we'll see how we go, the site itself seems really easy to use and the great thing about it is its FREE, well i hope everyone gets to know about this site and uses it

cheers

Matt

One idea would be to charge dealers a monthly free to post on there.

Seems every site charges them a trader's free + a fee per add they post, so if you charge them only a traders free and say you give them like 5 - 10 FREE adds...

I think they'd like that and you could actually profit :(

Aleks

EDIT: When searching for cars you have added an ALL MODELS option. But currently you must leave SELECT on the make option to get that to come up.

Would seem a little more tidy if you added an "ALL MAKE" option to the makes :D Just to make it seem that little bit more professional

Also, When you open an add, I can't seem to find the actual state in the add. only the suburb.

Just saying it coz I hardly know a quarter of the suburbs in SA, i got no chance to guess nationally :(

cheers for letting me know about this site richie honestly I can see it been a massive hit!!!

just added my car http://www.its4sale.com.au/ad_auto.php?m=3...p;sm=1&a=57

I'd be sad to see it go but it's been a good 5 years long enough ownership i think

Cheers again mate

Thats an insane looking Lancer man!

Right now, there are a total of 58 cars up there... All really nice and good prices

Some of you guys have some really awsome looking pictures in your ads as well :|

very cool! well done on taking it to the man!

carsales is a rip, ebay is a rip.

finally someone who made a free one

advertising and traders alone could net you a tidy profit while keeping the whole site free for private users.. it's great!

i've already told a bunch of people and started a thread here:

Thanks bud.

You can see the changes that have been made to the site - I spend about an hour on there everyday doing updates. With the 1 hour I can't do BIG changes but it happens over time...

Those looking to buy cars should def have a look - Lots of nice imports for sale and at good prices.

richie,

got your PM - been a bit busy to reply. fire me some numbers - I'll advertise with you.

btw Dom is a customer of mine - top bloke!

Hey Chris

Is he? We started out talking alot - He wanted to get involved heavily in the website. Unfortunately I have not had much time to work on it. New year so the clients are all after some new designs...

A few people have asked about the little advertisement box - I don't really want to charge anyone for putting an advert there just yet... The site is still way too small.

Chris - You help SAU so much. I'll throw up a FLASH Advertisement for you for free (Email me a .swf and I'll put it up) - unfortunately I'll only be able to keep it up there for you until someone is really keen on paying.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
