ID1000's huh

What fuel?

It would need to be C16. He doesn't have enough injector size to make that HP on anything else

Yeah that power on e85 with 1000cc inj on an rb26 sounds a little high plus that turbo is only rated to about 680hp worth of airflow too. Must have the world most efficient engine....

Or just running 70+psi fuel pressure...?

70psi only gets them up to about 1400cc. Still not high enough for 580kw I don't think. It may do, just skeptical. There's also the little issue of two Bosch 044 pumps flowing enough fuel for that HP. Two should only JUST do 500kw on E85.

If the guy could confirm what his highest injector ms is at peak power we will definitely know if that's legit or not

Dual 044's flow around 560l/hr at 14V.

So 9333cc/min or 1500cc/min per injector in a 6 cylinder, so the pumps in this case should outflow the injectors.

I'm not sure what pumps you have tested but none we have ever seen flow what you are saying in real world results.

Bosch rate their 044 pump at 200L/hr at 5bar. This was taken straight off the Bosch website in their pump technical data PDF.

That's 3.3L/min at 12V.

They also state that the test is performed using N-Heptane which has a different viscosity and density than petrol.

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say 4L/min @ 14V.

At 12cc/HP on E85 that's 666hp or 497kw. Once again I'm not saying its impossible but I seriously doubt the figure is accurate. To consider the rail would need to start at a base pressure of 75psi to get about 1400cc capacity, the flow of those pumps will decrease as the pressure increases.

Then to suggest it magically makes 80kw more than the pump should handle and 55kw more than the injectors can handle.....

I don't buy it

which is also very similar to Bosch's technical data...

Not arguing that the power seems very generous for the set up, just mentioning that the dual pumps would cover the injectors easily

The second one isn't Bosch's technical data and it's 10-15% more generous in its flow figures.

The first one is just whack.

Not Bosch's data? Really? I got it from here

Then there is discrepancy between two pumps from the same company.

They also state in the above link that they are not to be used with E85 whereas your link clearly states that it is ok.

New version maybe?

If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
