Just some pics that I've taken. Planning on updating regularly.

Comments welcome.

My camera is an Olympus SP-560UZ (Not DSLR).

I also use an editing program called Picasa on some of these pics just to play around with different stuff.

nice s15 , but i gota ask why the change ?

I'm going back to uni this year so I need a car that isn't going to cost as much as the GTR did. S15 is still fairly new, low kms and is nice to drive. Has aircon, starts first time every time and I don't have to worry about breaking expensive things lol.

GTR was a magnificent car though and I'll definitely get one again one day.

Thanks for the comments. Had a few people ask where the pics were taken too. It's a spot in Rockhampton called "igloo's" next to Q-Mag. Rocky people will know where they are.

Thanks. Yeah had to get the jap spec one. Goes hard, even compared with the gtr. I'm just loving response again lol

Yeah JDM = FTW!

As if, RB26 has 6 inderpendent throttle bodies! MUHAHAHA!!!:P

Yeah Im sure the S15 is a lot lighter too so it effects the response as well, which is good.

S15's looks so much better without spoilers yeah... Even that stock spoiler doesnt look all that good.

Wingless FTW.

In your sig, you said its got a S14A 5 Speed gearbox... Are they a lot tougher than the standard 6 speed that the S15's come with?

Yeah they are. People usually change them to S14 or even S13 5 speed boxes.

Yeah I hate the standard spoilers on these. I'm glad they filled the spoiler holes in.

Yeah awesome.

I did hear something about S15 6 Speed (Getrag..?) are pretty weak... Or ppl are know to go through them easily...

Anyway you have tuffen it up with the 5 Speed.

All the best!

lol. He's a big poser. He puts his wings up like that when you whistle to him. It's weird, but he gets really excited haha.

Few more :P (Obviously loving my new toy...)

    • So for the wide band is a Bosch 4.9 correct for the Link G4+ along with a Can bus? Just get the Link gear or is generic ok too? Eg here: LINK LINK DIGITAL WIDEBAND CAN MODULE WITH BOSCH 4.9 SENSOR : KYP Performance House
    • Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.
    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
