Hey just curious if anyone has seen or has pictures of a r34 non gtt or gt with te37 rims? as much as a search i cant seem to find any. Im looking to buy some for my gt but im not sure if it will suit. Pictures would be great if you have them =]

Also does anyone know what offset will fit without work? or what needs to be done to fit better offsets?

Thought it would be better to ask here then to make 2 topics lol.

Yes I think Silver car would go nice with Black. Will look tuff and probley the best choice.

Bronze is a good colour for it too.

Sliver wheels and Silver car, its pretty much what stock looks like.

Don't go White, you need a darker colour for abit of contrast.

Thanks, thats pretty much what i thought to lol. I know they look really good on gtr's because its a agressive looking car just dont know what they look like gtt or gt. Hate to spend 4 grand only to find out they look shit.

Only enough for cheap second hand te37s, 2.5-3k mark.

But im still not sure if its the right look for my car, personaly...I dont think they are.

Dont exactly want a aggresive look, want something sorta sexy sorta like Grants R34.

Nice rims, clean stock body and lowered a tad.

Sorry if i sound like whiny little girl i just suck at deciding.

Found these 19 inch Rays G Games on importmonster

I reakon there pretty nice minus the fact that there chrome...

Just wondering if anyone knows how much it is to powder coat them black?

Or paint them hyperblack? Or if this is even possible lol. If its is and its not much would make looking for rims a bit easier.

Sorry for asking so many questions :P Dont have anyone i can really ask without making things more confusing, better asking lots of questions here then making 500 topics for no reason though right? lol

As mentioned before TE37's look pretty average unless you get them in a low offset. Notice in the pics of the black R33 above the front ones look pretty average with the flat spokes, but the rear ones have a concave look. Anything below about +22 have the tough concave look, so if buying 2nd hand you might have to wait a bit before the right sizes and offsets turn up, but it'll be well worth the wait!

Definitely lip your guards. If you have no experience doing this yourself it will be best just to pay someone to do it. Costs approx $50 per corner. I see you live in QLD so look in the QLD section, there might be a stickied thread in there already with a recommended business who do guard rolling, if not, use the search function and if still nothing, start a new thread! :(

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
