Due to the dollar vs yen issue we have at the moment the JUN and Tomei pumps are getting frightfully expensive. The option to go with an externally driven oiling system is getting more cost effective. Im looking into a group buy to get kits locally manufactured using a single stage gilmer belt driven Peterson oil pump. These kits will have all the necessary fittings, brackets etc as well as instructions for ease of installation. The will be produced by Mark Jacobsen from Godzilla Motorsport and have been proven and tested on his drag car as well as RH9 R34 GTR which makes 1200+hp at all four wheels. Kits are being priced at the moment and im looking for expressions of interest from the forum to see if it can be produced at a reasonable rate if 5 or more people are willing to purchase.

That's about on the money for a full setup. That would include all the -12 Speedflow and braid as well as the filters, pickup, brackets, crank bolt, pulleys etc too.

Nice to have this as an off-the-shelf kit for people to buy instead of wasting their money on remanufactured OEM shit.

OS i knew you would be in on this mate...lol

righteo...expressions of interest so far are

1/ DiRTgarage

2/ Charlie

3/ N1GTR x 2

4/ stylz7 x 2

5/ CSNet

6/ OS30GK

thats 8 so i might look at getting a price to get 5 supplied and another for 10. As 10 would make them cheaper again.

Will it work with my trust sump or would it need a new sump? When does this group buy end? Down the road how easily is the converted or upgraded (Dry sump?) Would this be a good setup for a track orientated GTR? thanks

No it will work with existing sump whether it be stock, Trust, Hi Octane, Hi Energy etc...

Im still very new to the external set-ups, very interested.. My build is looking like a N1 pump, stock sump (jun baffles), orifice and drain.

Could someone point me in the right direction on what I would need to make this set-up effective, this kit gives me everything I need to run dry sump?

Would this go in place of the Air Con pump or would it be possible to keep it? If this is possible then I'm interested.

is this your car or your mums?

real cars have no air-con!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
