Wardest's Wonderful Weekend Thread

Recommended Posts

I had the most awesome weekend. Only got a total of 9 hours sleep between waking up Friday Morning and hitting the pillow last night. Looking to do it all again next time.

I'd like to hear what you guys got up to. I think some stories of weekend revelry are just what we need on a Monday.

I had fun on Friday night :P

You must come along next time E. B20 is such a bad place - but free drinks and being a little bit naughty downstairs in the 'schoolroom' made it all worth while.

Slept most of Sat. Watched 'Childs Play' - mmmm. Classy.

Had great day yesterday - market in the morning, 4WDing adventures before lunch (see below), a peek at the Oyabun Cefiro, a ride in Endless (still buzzin from that one - thanks boyos) and birthday beers for a buddy at the pub to finish it off.

Plus... cops called this mornign with a possible lead on my stolen stuff. It's all good!

Dude, you got my number. Next time you're going, SMS me.

That is an interesting angle you've got the Lada on there mate.

What's funnier tho is you seem to almost be sticking out of sunroof. Perhaps you should get another 4wd for bush bashing and give Barbie back her ride? Just a suggestion.

Haha - shall do with the SMS.

L's friend is only there for another few weeks, so will arrange to go before she leaves.

And yeah - it was a 'brown pants' Sunday. The poor little guy was on his nose trying to get out of there. Looks much steeper from in the car.

Perhaps I'll respray him pink with butterflies - just the thing for the Barbie fun-jeep :P

Went to see BadBoys2 on friday night with exclusive (and some girls) and went for a nice cruise after, but dont wanna talk about that

went out pubbin and clubbin with some girls saturday night good fun as usual

had a domestic day off sunday cleaned and rested

for once it felt like the weekend was long enuf :-P hehe must be something to do with the girls

btw next weekend theres a show and shine on with www.exclusive-auto.net check it out on their forums, come along to have a look at the cars and have a bbq if ya like

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
