Trains/time Trails/gymkhana/entry Comp!

Hey guys,

This event is held at the Archerfield Drift Track. Thought we would try something a bit different with a mixed comp with a wide variety of differently judged mini comps including - Time trials (there and back), Extreme Entry comp and also a Gymkhana style set up with challenge points throughout the track!! The night will also be topped off with some crazy drift trains!!

This will be open to experienced drivers who would like to mix it up a bit and get a whole lot of track time and have an awesome night full of drifting!

There will be trophies available for the winners of each category.

Time Trials

Track layout for the time trials will be as follows (please excuse my Paint skills lol)

Obviously for this track it is the fastest return lap performed by a driver with minimum mistakes. A normal direction out lap through the hairpin will be followed with a donut in the last corner, returning in reverse direction on the fast track. Judges on the night will explain what they would like to see and the criteria they will be judging by. These return laps have been a huge hit in the past!!

Entry Comp

This is quite self explanatory but for those that haven't seen the entry comp before it is purely the wildest entry into turn 1 whilst holding the most angle/speed possible!! You will be required to hold the drift through the first section of turn 1. Again, judges will inform drivers of the judging criteria on the night

Gymkhana Style Judged Runs

These will be something new to the Archy track. We will be placing certain obstacles eg. donut points, etc., throughout the track and drivers will be judged on their ability to link the new obstacles whilst keeping a smooth line and maintaining drift at all times! Something not to be missed!!!

Drift Trains

There will be ample opportunities on the night for drift trains to take place for any drivers wanting to participate. These will not be judged, just for fun!

The night will also be accompanied by Truck'n Djs, promo girls, a guest judge and professional commentator!!

Times:

5pm - Gates open

6pm - Practice begins

7pm - Driver's Briefing followed by Driver's Parade

10pm - Conclusion

Entry Costs:

$55 per driver

$10 per adult spectator

$5 per child spectator

Pit area will be accessible only by drivers and their limited pit crew. Please accompany your pit crew to the sign on tent and see me to arrange pit passes.

Should be an exciting night full of action!! So come out and be a part of a different style of drift comp and mix it up!
