Looking to source a set of track rims for an R35, prefer 18" (eg. TE37) or 19" (eg. RE30) so i can run RE55's or R888's for example. New or used is fine. If you have or can source appropriate rims (correct/proven size and offsets) please PM me. thx.

I'm pretty certain you will find no-one in Aus has a set of 18s/19s on their R35 yet. All of the rally cars are running standard rims with standard tyres.

I think to make sure of fitment you should contact someone like Just Jap who can work with good contacts in Japan to make certain whatever they buy fits.

Yeah i hear you i have tried just about everywhere but nobody seems to have done it locally. Apparently the TE37 18x9.5+22 and 18x10.5+15 rears fit ok (proven in the States by a couple of people). This would yield the option of using an 18" RE55 - otherwise it's 19" and R888. I really want the RE55's though.

So all the rally cars are running the standard tyres - does anyone know if they are running the bridgestone RE070R or the dunlop SP Sport? Anyone know how they would compare to say an RE55?

Yes they are running the dunlop, and while they are a good road tyre they are still seconds a lap off RE55s. In particular they get too hot and get very slippery after a few ks.

BTW the rally cars are all running 400mm mines rotors with dog bone adapters and standard calipers. You should keep in mind they seem to be under braked factory before buying 19s....

Thanks for the info. I'll only be doing sprints at EC/OP/WP tracks, and no more than 4 laps every hour (perhaps 4 or 5 sessions a day). I dunno really but i would hazard a guess good pads/fluids and slotted rotors may suffice?
