hey i've only just started researching anything skylines as my r33 is being loved up a little, much to the missus' disgust. I've owned her for about 6 years now (the 33 not the missus) and never really had to spend on it apart from basic servicing. it's only my weekend warrior as i have a company car for general commuting duties. After 6 years the tyres need replacement (those damn tyre companies eh? i only got 6 years out of them! i've got a good mind to write them a strong letter, but i digress) so i convinced the other half that it would be better to get those 18 inch wheels with new tyres as a package deal. I'm nothing if not full of sound economic advice. Or bullshit. I forget which one. Oh and the shocks would need to be replaced with adjustable coilovers so I did that too then told her that front and rear strut braces would really tie the package together nicely. It was when the apexi power fc arrived and she signed for it (that was meant to go straight in behind the kick panel for her never to see) that I ran out of excuses. But i made some up anyway. Next step - buy house. With the missus pre-occupied with that i can get back to wasting money on my depreciating asset that is currently worth about a third of what i've spent on it and i'm likely to kill myself in. Oh and I could have bought a much nicer car with that sort of money, but i try not to think about that and instead focus on the fact that pre-pubescent schoolboys still stare when I drive past more than they would if I were to pass them in a SL55 AMG. Ah to be someone's hero....
