Autosan Dates Melbourne 09

I now that this has been probably answered but does anyone now the dates for autosalon melbourne 09.

1st event is Grand Prix on the last weekend in March.

Other dates havent been confirmed yet.

Another question would be wil there be a sau club visit to autosalon

Depends on the time, who's interested - and so on. So its hard to say either way.

If there is interest, the SAU-Vic club will chip in money towards members who want to display cars...

However we've asked in the past for at LEAST 10 cars to make the expenditure justifiable as its 4 figures once you get into it properly

no dates yet, there will only be one Melbourne show this year though.

No - there will be 2 shows

One at the GP at end of the month - more just a display thing (not part of the show series)

and then one later in the year at the Exhibition Centre (part of the show series and usually October ish)

I think he meant there used to be two shows in Melbourne aside from the Grand Prix - Round 1 and Semi-Final. They cut it down to one show a year in Melbourne.

Yeah I thought DanJ was thinking maybe the GP was it for Autosalon in Melb this year - just wanted to confirm there will be the Melbourne Show later in 09.
