Recommend Me Some Rims, I've Given Up!

I just purchased the set of URAS NS-01 silver from Just Jap this morning!!! Cant wait for it to get here

What size tyres are meant to go on there? I dont wanna put my speedo out of wack.....

Ringing around the tyre shops and they seem to recommend 245/40/17; but should i get 255/40/17 or would that be too wide?

Would 245 be wide enough to protect my rim from gutter rash?

Do not drive into gutters and you will have no rash. Nor will you damage the sidewalls of your tyres, thereby ruining them. 255 will fit on a 9" but you need to figure out rolling circumferances too.

245 is a good size on a 9.

Speaking to the guy at TTF he rekons i go 255/40 as its the same total diameter of my original 32GTR rims of 205/55/16....

...so its booked in tomorrow for a new set of Hankook K104's

So whats the size of the rear tyres you ended up putting on?

Its always good to have the wide tyres at the rear as you will gain a bit more traction.
