will do guys. im actually compiling a map on google earth of places im gonna check out for shoots. once have a look and experiment with my car, i might post up an event

Docklands would have quiet a few nice spots,

but i think almost everyone had photos of their car done at docklands at some point :D

lol i was trying to do that over the weekend. after i washed my car of course, good day. but couldnt find any.

if you find some spots, i'll tag along mate.

lol the infamous westgate bit. i've a couple other spots in mind too

While cruising with my mate in his nice supra, i suggested we go to this location to take few snaps with my camera. So we got to the Watergardens shopping center, did a few laps trying to find this location and eventually did.

So, parked the car, got the camera out, about to snap a pic, i noticed a guard but i thought nothing of it.

SO i turned back, got into position to take a pic, when security guard (boldie) decided to yell rudely "what ya doing mate no pictures in shopping center"...So i said "what you mean its my car, im not doing anythign wrong" bla bla, started being rude, so did i, exchanged colourful words, drove slowly off without rush. He wrote my mates plates down and i told him to shuve it where they fit and get a read job.

So pissed off as we were NOT doing anything wrong, i called Sunshine poilce station to verify what i thought was true, which is, i am allowed to take pictures in public places such as shops, especially of my car.

Guard was a wanker so if anyone decides to go there, you can take pictures! He has no right, dumb security tossa.

I so wanted to go back and take 10000 pictures to rub it in but my mate didnt want to, oh well his car so i didnt wanna push the issue.

Fkn pissed off :P

HAHAH, well as soon as there is "cleavage" around, there is no problems, everyone is happy, nice and friendly while starring...I don't think the guard in question has ever seen anything like that before, he will let you take picture inside Safeway, between two isles, anything for a bit of cleavage.

yeah? maybe it was security guard. me and my mates been there multiple times. never have had a problem. guards even come out and check out our cars. one time awhile back our group organised a meetup there. thought it would've been small but word got around. we asked watergardens in advanced though anyway. they approved as long as no hooning and loud music blah blah blah. guards seems all cool about it, had a few standing around checking out the cars and all. mind you about 100 odd cars came that night.

If you're heading to the Western suburbs at night time, perhaps take a few photos underneath the Bolte Bridge. There is some grass/turf on the ground floor that you can park your car on and the lights look great with long exposure shots.

I dont know what you guys did that night or what you guys did to him but this guy was angry with the world. Didnt even bother to TRY to be nice about it, basically told me where to go... lol

ok guys i have a rough plan. just gotta go scope it out. not sure at the mo if im gonna include watergardens in this one or not.

basically meet at chaddy (very similar to watergardens - had a look today), take pics, cruise up (princess hwy. dunno how smart this is)to sth melb, take pics, from there to the docklands, more pics in bout 4 diff spots, then either continue to WG or i was thinking of going to garage cafe who are SAUVIC sponsors to end the night. i'll do a new thread once i get it all sorted cos i can edit my shit later.

thoughts?

oh and whaddya rekon sauvic official event or not? im leaning not

      Had another look at the car and I noticed the fuel pump isn't priming on ignition. I'd taken out the pump from the boot to siphon out the old fuel, so maybe I've knocked something loose or broken a wire putting things back together. Will go back with a multimeter and try to work out what's stuffed. Kinda hoping it's the pump itself thats gone so I can upgrade it

      Yeah agreed, you can't assume that shop are they only people who ever had to work on it. It was just a guess on the mods based on how things were done back then. You can check the Air Flow Meters by the part number on their tags, they are likely either Z32 or Nismo ones (both read about the same but the Z32 one is a little larger while nismo is stock size but supports the higher airflow like a Z32). And yes, all that would get you to 450hp / 340kw To tell what is happening with the turbos, you want a photo of the tag on the core, that will say what it was made out of  (they can retain the front and rear covers to make the plumbing easier)

      I'm selling my personal race car. 1992 BNR32 Skyline GT-R About eight years ago the engine developed the dreaded low oil pressure problem. I removed it and found the issue. However shortly after I moved half way across the country, moved my work shop, bought a house, got married, then moved my shop again to it's permanent location for the time being. in turn I do not have the time to race this car as it should be. In turn the engine I built for this car will end up in my street car and this car I hope finds a home with someone who can use it to it's full potential. The roll bar was built by Jason Noren Fabricaiton in Pomona California to SCCA and NASA Specs. The car used to compete in redline time attack and global time attack enthusiast class. It also has a fire suppression system.  The car is with me at my workshop in Kyle Texas, USA. Shipping it is no problem, I can personally deliver the car to the port of either Houston or Los Angeles. Any other port depending on where it is may require transport but we can always work that out.   The chassis itself is rust free, rear quarters and under fenders are free of any rust so it's a very solid foundation for anyone who wishes to move forward with it. As posted and at the asking price of $20,000 USD the car includes all of the following;   All OEM Body panels, front fenders, rear bumpers etc.  OEM Nissan Projector headlamps (Pictured N1 lamps were removed) OEM Nismo Side Skirts / Extensions OEM Rear Spats  Front & Rear Subframes are installed car is full roller Rear Subframe has Cusco Camber Arms, Whiteline HICAS Elimination Front Subframe has Whiteline tension rods and whiteline Sway bars w/ endlinks.  Buddy Club N1 Coilovers All chassis wiring and engine wiring is in tact.       So...to my (and my mechanics doing the swap) surprise...the oil pan from NEO engine does not fit 100% and needs to by modified like this: It is not a huge problem but in the future i want a "proper" oil pan. So question is...what different oil pan can i get to fit without any problems and modification? Thanks!
