i was thinking a vy maloo r8 which i could also kinda use for work, but i dont think i'd wanna dirty it :(

anyway

budget would probably be ~25-30K

before anyone mentions it, im not after another skyline/gtr etc

im not really sure what else is there other than the usuals

still prefer somethin jap with decent power + luxury etc

also would prefer something 1998+

8 g, get a skyline, spend 5 g, u can rip that malpoo R8 and you have money for an investment house left over. Enjoy

But if you really wanna spend your money, got for a Honda s2000, Hondas don't brake down but dont expect power to be anything like nissan.

Maybe 350 z?

If it's for work, forget about the Maloo. a mate of mine (a builder) had one for about 4 months, couldn't wait to get rid of it. Bottomed out on every site he went to, not enough tray space for all his tools, and all that power + no TCS/ESC scared him when it rained.

What you want it for? Daily, Weekend, Work, all?

What kind of work do you do?

You want a new car for a change?

Whats wrong with your R34 GTT?

So cars for thought...

Nissan 350Z / 370Z / V35

Toyota Supra / Chaser / Aristo

Mazda RX7 FD

^^ tuff!

but i dont want anything that big, biggest i'd go is a maloo but so far i think it would be pointless for me since theres no rear seats and cant really be used for work :( but fark they are porn!

my first thought when i see a chaser is CAMRY lol but so far its top on the list...along with the 04 wrx. not a big fan of the rest of the cars mentioned

^^^ u forgot to mention its gotta be auto >_<

nah no more auto :P

(OO)SKYLINE(OO) im just after an all rounder. i'll stick with the van for work

    • Maybe also really stiffly sprung track cars. Get the inside wheel up in a corner and all the fun stops. Also me sometimes (rarely) when I have to stand on the brake to convince the diff to drive the wheel that is still on the ground when I'm trying to diagonally get over severe driveway entrance, etc.
    • I feel like I'm missing something. You had an authorised installer come out and install a new alarm. Post install the car doesn't start, and you aren't getting the installer back to fix what they did wrong?
    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
