Seriously - f*ck these guys. I have had it with their lacklustre performance. Would love to 'remove my subscription' - but as it is, I enjoy reading the magazine :)

Tried to order HPI back issues - as listed with shopping-cart and 'buy now' on HPI website. I supply credit card details - 4-days later am told the issues are no-longer available.

THEN TAKE THEM OFF YOUR F*CKING WEBSITE! How hard can it be!

Sorry to vent - but have had bad week. Car broken into, working stupid hours - all I wanted was some more GTR reading to ease the pain.

Magstore - thanks for making it suck even more ;)

HERE HERE

I ordered a bunch of back ordered a few weeks ago and have had nothing in my mail box.

I just bought an R-34 and I ordered all the Project R-34 stuff, and now I want it!

Damn them. I'm on hold now to them, and I think I will be for quite some time as I was last time.

(frustrated) BASS OUT

every one i have spoken too has had a bad experience with them..... thats why i just read my friends HPI and dont bother subscribing.. no point if its never going to come.

Any yes, the HPI guys are on the forums and they have been told but they havent done shit.

I've been speaking to the web guy at Express Publications - they are having a 'meeting' on Monday to remedy the problem. Apparently the fault is with the HPI website.

Doesn't get me my magazines, but let's hope they fix it.

Then they can look at the subs dept screwing up phone and mail subs - they sent me Hot4s for 3 months and not HPI, then to remedy - sent me the same HPI 3 times.

I had exactly the same problem. It's like almost a bloody month to get my hpi v6 to get here...

On the other hand my HPI subscription went as usual, so hopefully they don't screw that one up...

Where else can I buy HPI v7? Does jb sells them? Better to grab something off the shelf and pay it on the spot, you know you get the stuff, not waiting 3-4 weeks in the mail.

    • Whilst the brewery had good beer, I didn't rate the pork knuckle, the meat was good, but, there was no crackling, the skin was just thick and chewy Will return at some stage for the beer, but, I will wash the beer down with chips Plus, no sauerkraut, in what world do people serve pork knuckle without sauerkraut, they did serve apple slaw with it, which was nice, but.......#sauerkraut the world
    • Wow yeah ok. Given how specific you are about your car, I'm very surprised you are happy to do that.  As a bare minimum, without having a wideband gauge in the car or running it up on the dyno to check mixtures, there is no way I'd do that to my car.  You beat me to it, was going to say just this.
    • Yeah - that's not true. Larger turbos flow more at the same boost. By definition. I've always found it funny when the claim of same flow same power because same boost is made. The turbine is larger, therefore will put up a lower restriction to flow at any given flow, cf the stock one. Hence, you need less boost to make the same flow through the whole system. Hence, when you have the same boost as before, you must have more flow. -5s are a pretty decent bit bigger than stock.
    • That's basically how I've been driving my R33 for a while now. GTIII-SS running wastegate boost. It makes no more power than stock because the turbos aren't flowing any more air than stock. Eventually though I need to fix this so it can actually drive as it should.
    • If this was my own car, I would pull about 5 degrees off the CAS, run a wideband, and if that seems ok, send it.
