Hi there,

I am importing a "Customs Cage" Roll Cage from the UK and require some one locally to weld

this into the Rally Car I am build at present. (I am based in the North of Tasmania)

Any recommendations availible in Tasmania ? ..... maybe in the North ?

Thanks again.

Regards.

YT just did a cage for us for a r33. looks like he got his design ideas from custom cages, cause they are very similar.

i was thinking MIG. i forgot to mention when looking at it.

you can do a sweet job with a mig if you have the know how.

i considered a custom cages cage for the rx7, but whitey ended up doing mine... i wonder if their fitment would be as nice and tight as his work? (importand in an rx7 cause there's hardly any room as it is!)

darren elphingstone near burnie is another option to weld up a kit for you, he did the cage in my evo and was very reasonable on price for the whole thing.

JW does nice work, and has improved out of site since maybe his E7. Custom Cages MIG in the factory, even though their joints are precision cut on a cnc machine.

Make sure you use correct wire if you have got the T45 option.

We did our own... but for customer car would use one or three guys to weld - JW being one of them.
