So... sitting back looking at my car i though there are some damn cool parts about it that you don't find on many cars, these parts are numerous and interesting... but whats the COOOLEST part? So a poll is afoot!

Lets take a couple of days worth of suggestions to go in the poll then we'll vote.

I'd like to put forward;

1. The bifolding centre consol - so rad!

2. Folding back seat leavers - just damn handy!

3. Falling rear windows - looks super summer cool with all glass down

the popup screen. ohh and heated seats. and the reverse camera.

I do like the pop up screens! heated seats and reverse cameras are for mums though  haha think cool wall on TopGear, doesn't need to be functional much or pretty just COOL  each to their own though ill pop those ones on the poll

Auto-closing boot. Not sure if its the coolest but its worth having in the poll.

note that the rear windows in the M35 dont fall down like the C34 does. they stay level and only open half way. I prefer the C34 way, just gets attention from people

is someone jealous they dont have these functions???

My favourite feature is that it has no traction control, it's more tail happy than my old man's '06 Holden VZ ss ute.

I can't stop it from getting the ass out on wet days!

??

is yours RWD? I thought the RWD stageas did have TCS.

The AWD ones will step the back out round a corner in the wet/dry if you plant it but in a straight line good luck getting any wheelspin, wet or dry.

how about "so many different configurations/options" on the list. is that a feature?

This button is the coolest part on the Stagea - it can do SO many things

Lol, if you read the earlier post regarding that button!!

Nobody mentioned twin sunroofs!!! Not many cars will give you that one.

hmm, I'll take the AWD anyday!

Coolest feature

Turbo blowing up

the car forces u to mod it

YES!... but where does it end?

I didn't realise that when my turbo blew up, my car required so many thing to make it "run" properly

I'm for the motorised boot lid. Oh! and the turbo.

Doesn't everyone love the self closing boot?

What about the dual opening rear (get your minds out of the gutter Stephen/Iain/Me) - window and door!

What is the story with the auto closing boot, how do you know if you have that? Is it an m35 thing?

I would like to add the auto dipping rear view mirrors and the bose sub in the spare wheel.

Oh and just the other day i found the hidden cup holders for the rear seats under the middle of the rear seat.

afaik it's not standard in the m35.

The dual opening rear is the main reason I got the car.

    • I'll probably be putting the shit box back on the dyno again soon, I want to dial in the closed loop boost control properly. I'll have a camera facing the car/motor for fun too. Just note, there are essentially 3x 10AN inlets going into the catch can and 1x going back to the intake pipe. Most of the time the catch can "return" to the sump actually is the crank case breather, pushing air out.
    • I have the R3C with a Nismo slave and by no means does it behave like a stocker, it ain’t THAT bad. On take off just give a bit more throttle than you would say a coppermix and it’s fine. It will not slip though.
    • Okay. Final round of testing done. Got a friend to hook up a fancy scanner to the car and we also ran some compression and leakdown tests, she is healthy.  The MAF was definitely the culprit. So for future reference anyone with similar issues that find this thread. I suggest the following steps, in order of affordability:   Check your spark plugs for any fouling, replace plugs if they are bad or re adjust the gaps making it narrower (0.8mm would be good). Check every coil's resistance with a multimeter. It can be done by probing the IB and G pins on the coil pack. Resistance should be around 1.4 (+/- 0.1) Ohms Check the MAF. If you have Nissan connect or a good scanner with the 14 adapter it should allow you to see the voltage on the MAF reading should be around 1.1 - 1.2V when car is idling. But if you don't, buy a new MAF from Amazon and test, then return it. (For instance, I got a Chinese one for $40 that was reporting 1.3v on idle). If you still have scanner, you can run tests on the injectors to see if they are working, just remember to unplug the fuel pump fuse/relay and have no pressure on the line. Then listen for the noises that the injectors make. Clean/replace injectors as needed. Once you find the issue and fix, order thousands of dollars worth of OEM parts to refresh unrelated things (Optional)   PS: Thanks to the absolute legends of this forum for the responses and help to someone that went a bit over their head.
