Hi Guys,

Before mods say anything, yes i know there's 2 other threads about this, but i thought rather than bumping that and possibly not getting a reply, i would create a new thread

(i believe i did ask for them to be closed)

Anywho, due to unforseen circumstances, sadly one of my drivers has had to pull out. Meaning his R34 GT-R is also unavailable.

If anyone has an R34 GT-R that they would like to lend (you will be driving) for my wedding that would be greatly appreciated.

Details are as followed:

Date: 9th September (Wednesday)

Time: Pick up of groomsmen will be from Hills Motorlodge on Windsor Rd, Baulkham Hills @ approx 12:30-1pm (Reason for this time is this is the latest check out time we could get)

From here the groomsmen will need to be transported to Loxley On Bellbird Hill in Kurrajong.

Now the actual wedding Ceremony doesn't start until 3pm. But there may be photo's taken of your cars before hand.

And after the ceremony, there will be half hour/hour worth of photos.

Then you are free to leave.

Payment: Approx $2-300 for 4ish hours. You will also receive copies of any HI-RES photos taken on the day of your vehicle

Now i know how my other threads turned out with people asking "What about maitenance costs?", "What if there's an accident?" etc etc. If that's the only reason your going to post something in this thread, please do not bother.

It's simple really, if people want to help out, make some quick money, they will. If they don't want to. They wont.

Terry has offered his beautiful machine.

I just need one other car

Hopefully someone can help.

Nick

hey mate, i think u should try PMing moei (aka MRGTR911). Seen his car in person a few times, and it is undoubtedly one of the nicest r34 GTR's going around. He also took a mate of mines brother to his formal in it, so i dont think he would have much of an issue driving around for your wedding (assuming hes available).

also met him few days ago at GCG, car sounds pretty damn tuff on idle etc, so im certain it has balls to go with those looks.

all the best mate

Oh well...

Back to PLAN D Nick!

Booking a Test Drive from Uncle Garry at Top Secret at Blacktown...

Specifically from 12.30 to 5, 9th September... and parked most of the time to have photographs taken of it!

btw Victor bought his new R35. I wonder if he's sold his R34 GTR yet?

I'll call him Wed. Heck it's August already!! :(

Happy Horse's Birthday everybody!

Don't knock the horse! Predecessor to the motor car!

Black Widow,

I might be available on the day and i'm willing to help you on the day, PM and provide me with more details!

I've got a black R34 GT-R, enough? :P

GODZLR.jpg

The way you park this 'Black Beauty' means that you don't ever get gutter rash either...

hehe...

Look forward to the meeting...

And let the cameras start clicking...

Cheers, T

    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
    • Yeah - I mean, go the other way. Smaller range. Not larger.
    • To re-cap, I bought: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Lsailt-8G-Infiniti-Q50-Q60-2014_1601171829627.html?spm=a2756.trade-list-buyer.0.0.2cd476e9FTIlKE As you can see, if I bought 20 it was $653, but I bought 1 so it was $1,170. I was very tempted to buy 2 and resell 1 at 25% cheaper. @MBS206, I am not sure if they do a Kluger one, here is their list but it might be there under a global model name: http://www.lsailt.com/product/android-interface?page=1 Keep in mind these full android replacements have basically all the bits a phone does (cpu, ram, storage, wifi, bluetooth, usb interfaces) other than a screen (it uses a host), thus the $800+ cost. Android Auto screen mirroring is MUCH cheaper as it's just a cut down shell, input mirroring and output mirroring BTW I also need that "screen off" feature, it is much harder to see wildlife even if a dash is reasonably dark. Both the Fuga and V37 have display off buttons for night use, they just come back on for a second or 3 if you interact with it, eg skip a song.
