Going through my window cam and working it out by the footage, the fastest times I did were 1:27's (many times), averaged 1:28 if I wasn't caught behind someone. What kinda timers are everyone using?

My 2nd off about 1minute after my dirt bath:

and my corner exit onto pit straight tank slapper:

youtube links should be right now

Thanks for the links, I was in the stocky white 33 in the vid.

Thanks to Adrian for organising a great day out, enjoyed by everyone there I'm sure....

I was the photographer out there for the morning(other commitments meant i couldent do the afternoon)

i will post some pics up here soon, was some very nice cars (was also my blue 32 in the pits incase anyone was wondering!)

cheers jamie

Jamie, were you on corner 2 just near the pit straight and then on the final corner near the start / finish line ?

last time it was dyno'd it was 170. added a couple small things since then, and the boost is a little higher (1.2 bar now, was 1.0), need to fit my ebc and adjust the timing a little bit.

fantastic day ! cheers again adrian and everyone out there.

my front pads are allllll metal, flakes and pins of metal and not an ounce of pad ! - slotted discs will be ok and fine tho.

ordered new pads as its hard to find db1250 over the counter

doing oil service right atm, ready for new pads to be dropped in tomorrow/thursday whenever delivered.

also found where the fuel map stops at 6000 - 6400rpm. needs a recalibration via a full license nistune/consult (mine cant change the logs)

Anyone who was having problems with their pads running the QFM pads.

I have done 3 track days with the set on the 180 and they (the fronts) still have at least another day left in them and the rears are bearly touched, that's pulling 1:23's as well.

cant say enough about my qfm pads. they were brilliant. only lost the pedal twice during the day, and i daresay that would have a fair bit to do with my rears f**king out repeatedly.

Here is some in car from No.96

I was meant to warm up my tyres for a lap and a half and then push on. It is amazing how an R35 going past changes plans.

I use my mobile phone to video, it is mounted next to the rear view mirror, as I got to the Southern Hair pin the phone rang and stopped videoing.

enjoy

What my brand new front QFM A1RM pads looked like after the 4th 20minute session (I only knew something was up because i heard scraping on the left front while pulling out of pits into general area.

I've done 2 track days, motorkhana and a number of spirited drives on my qfm a1rm pads and rda slotted rotors all round and theyre only about half worn.

i averaged on 1.30 at mallala on shitty street tyres and running 10psi (anyhting over computer has a fit). Minimal brake fade after 6-7 laps.

Theyre great value for money, and i will be getting another set once these are goneski.

Might also depend on the way you drive i guess, some people i know chew through pads and rotors no matter what they are.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
