just got a carbon boot the other day as seen here:

Car is a daily so got this boot to open my options a little...

Basically i could

1. paint carbon boot white to match car and leave it.

2. buy carbon bonnet to match boot and leave it

3. fill holes and paint original bonnet, then sell on the carbon one

kinda want to keep the car legal and below the radar hence im leaning towards option 3 as it keeps everything legit and understated.

but i quite like the look of the carbon/white two tone thing.

the gt-c's will be getting black inserts in the next few weeks so i think it would all go well together.

ive emailed blits regarding an adr approved carbon look bonnet made from fibreglass and they say they can do it and its legal for street use... who knows how well thatd hold up though.

Opinions? thoughts?

I'm not sure if I like the carbon boot or not...is different, would probably grow on me, and If i did keep the boot like that I'd deffinatly get a Carbon bonnet...can't you get an adr approved carbon bonnet??? :D ruins my plans then....meh i'll just get one anyway lol.

Cheers, Brad.

imo the only way to tastefully pull off black + white is with atleast black wheels, mirrors and bonnet .. just boot or bonnet or mirrors on its own looks like you were in an accident and bought a new part that hasnt been painted yet..

personally, i love the carbon bonnet, carbon boot look, and you car looks great, i second having black rims, and possibly carbon mirrors (budget allowing for all this carbon) but i've always loved the carbon on white effect

My love of carbon aside, if you want it all to remain under the radar, then painting the lot white would be the way to go, it just seems a shame to paint such a nice weave

you guys drive a hard bargain haha

im still pretty sold on fixing up the old boot to keep things under the radar

that being said if carbon panels werent so expensive and were not a giant cop/defect magnet i'd probably go for it.

but the $800 for a carbon bonnet pretty much pays for my nistune install and tune :D

    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
