Again PM's replied....

Are school holidays over yet :P ???

Few serious offers but no deposits as yet... till a deposit is received the car is still for sale ... I will not 'hold' the car 'for a couple of weeks ' either ... well unless it's a NSW club member that I know :P

Cheers

Anna

I hope you dont have to part it out, its already a complete package with everything!!!!!

hopefully someone out there puts their money where their mouth is and buys it!!

I can vouch for this car..... absolutely hammers way past my r33 @ last texi, and it really didnt seem to be revving very hard while I was killing mine desperately trying to unsuccessfully keep up lol

Nice ride from what ive seen of it, sounds brilliant and didn't miss a beat all day, considering the power that thing makes.

I'd love to take it but atm I want something newer, looking at a gtr r34 tomorrow but also tossing up between a more recent v35 or 37 because it looks like a bussiness sports car lol.

I recon the price your putting for your skyline is alittle cheap for what the market offers for a car of that reliability and power, but it is an absolute bargain at that price considering the work thats gone into it.

Good luck

This definately won't disapoint whoever buys it.

Part it out plz, I know many nice little pieces on your car that I want :) Although I think I've bought all of them now so nm...

I almost wish this was 5 months ago, and it wouldn't be beyond impossible to get this street registered in ACT....coz this thread would be a page shorter...

Thanks for all the kind comments guys :) I guess I have let lots of people drive it over the years and at various parts of the build!!

Its cheap for the money spent but at the end of the day in this market it is still just a Gtst... Besides the next project will get under way nicely with $22K!!! Or roundabouts !!

Tom... it is newer than a R34 :D ... most of the parts on the car are less than 3 years old.. and the engine is only 15 months/30,000km old :P

Doof, I will add you to the list of people sniffing around like vultures :ninja:

Taking some more photos tomorrow as I have been a bit slack... will post em up tomorrow night...

:ninja: ... it always happens... you buy something then usually a few weeks later something else comes up that you would of bought instead!

Yes definitely able to be registered elsewhere.. I have half engineered the car, but never got round to finishing it off as I didn't know when I was going to stop adding stuff to the car! Well the engine anyways!

Probably should finish it off, its on my list of things to do.... :) But I will have to say bye to the screamer :P

haha, well yeah it'd be registrable with engi certs, but ACT don't give 2 hoots about a lot of things...NSW certificates would probs be ok, but it has to go through our main motor registry office, who are a bunch of <profanity>

lol let me rewrite what i meant, The Girl Friend wants me to get something that looks newer lol. Maybe i should get a new gf.

The GTR i looked at had seen better days. I'm looking at CLK500 today, bargain price from motor dealers auctions (yes i also have one of those lisences, i'm full of surprises lol), if its in good cond i might be comming to texi in eurotrash next time lol. But I am seriously thinking about ur monster, with yours i'll have to find a daily to get aswell because my rio is on its last legs from trying to drive it like a skyline lol.

I'll keep in touch, i can't decide GRRRRRR

I drove this car tonight, and if I hadn't already been in it on a number of occasions as a passenger, I would have sh!t my pants!

All this car really needs is, ummm, TRACTION!!!

Where's that smiley doing epic skids when you need it?

Well one person came, wants to buy but needs to get a bank loan.. :(

Soooo not holding my breath! Took pics yesterday and Il get them up tonight...

when i first seen this car and looked under that bonnet i felt like my r33 with 200rwkw was just a baby! and i felt very small that a gurl had a much more powerfull car then me and also knew how to drive it and drive it very well as i just couldnt keep up with her on the old pacific lol good luck sellin anna and gee if i had the money i wouldnt hesitate to purchase

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
