i know we've all been waiting patiently for another cruise.thanks to adam for organising the last one(even tho he didnt show and craig, aleks and myself took over)

i hope everybody enjoyed the drive, they are some of the best roads i know down that way

some of you may know i love all things rotary, and ive owned my fair share of mazda's

SArotors.org is holding their club birthday cruise, and id like us to join them

im sure there will be some tough old school rotors out for such an event

the cruise has been set for sunday 8th november at 10am at ingle farm shopping centre

if anyone from down south want to meet up for a coffee in glenelg on their way thro to the meet spot, let me know or wants to meet up and drive up there together ill be more than happy to work it out with you

if anyone has a major problem with us being on the SArotors cruise then pm me and ill be more than happy to discuss it with you

ill be going either way

thanks everyone

peace,love

rodney

Edit by Mods as per request of -RBD2- :

SArotors have decided that "defectable Nissans" won't be welcome on their cruise, so plans are changing. The date will remain the same (November the 8th), but the location will be revealed via PM, so please send one to -RBD2- to get the details...

thanks for that nick,much appreciated

anyways after doing the right thing and asking the SArotors members whether they would mind us tagging along with them, their main concern is having defectable nissans hooning around in amongst their cruise.

id rather not argue with them as im also a member on their forum.

pm me your phone numbers and ill get the details out to you as soon as the route has been sorted

will be talking with adam, craig and aleks soon to work out an awesome route for the day.some of the previous cruises roads maybe included....

sorry for fark around people,we will be well organised.if its a nice day,my BBQ might even be in back of the wags for our lunch break

cheers lads

rodney

nevermind craig, with the weather slowly getting better hopefully we can all get together abit more often

anyone whos number i dont have can sms me 0421754575

and once the finer details are sorted, ill send out the messages

the day will involve a late morning meet and drive, break for a BBQ lunch in a nice spot, then the trip home

had some very good roads suggested too...

will be a good day

^^not too sure what you mean brendo, comparing revs to power maybe..?

had a nice little drive yesterday with some of the lads,on some roads that are new to me

so i might try and incorporate some of those roads into this cruise

alright, roads are organised.lunch break will be at a nice bakery and the meet point is sorted for 11am for a coffee if anyones keen

details wont be posted here so send me some mobile numbers if i dont already have yours and ill put the sms' out in the next couple of days

    • Not really, but the heater box is pretty simple mechanically....if the door is one way the air bypasses the heater core and if it is the other way it goes through it for warm air.  If you are sure the actuator you moved manually is for the heater mix (there would also be one for output air direction) then I'd take the heater box out and see what is happening (you'll have to regass and re-coolant the systems afterwards) BTW pp724 onwards from the GTR workshop manual cover the system in good detail, it is probably worth checking. I think the IAT sensor might be a problem electrically for getting cold (if you got 24 error code not -24 it thinks the incoming air is -50c) and it covers how to test the sensor (although most likely it is either not plugged in or a wire is damaged)
    • Use the GKTech subframe bush and bring your subframe 10mm closer to the chassis. You'll need to fix an exhaust hanger to suit. One of the best mods I've done.
    • You'd really have to pull it apart further to know, it least you can be confident that the one heading to the back is not connected any more. There was once a ground on the shifter seal mount too, your head unit issue could be that simple
    • Perfect, I'll get to it this winter then at the same time as I weld on my anti squat kit.
    • Alright so my 32 only has one temperature no matter what degree you set it to. I’ve tried disconnecting the servo motor arm and moving it either direction and got no change. I’ve fixed the leak in my AC and re charged it and with it on and clutch engaged it still blows hot even though the low pressure pipe going to the firewall is ice cold. Both heater core hoses are hot while running as well. Diagnostic code showed 24 for intake air temperature sensor. Anybody got any ideas?
