This is why Adelaide likes anal sex on NYE.

This is also why I'm heading to Melbourne for NYE... Sensation white f**kers!

And yes Mitch, I forgot my italics.

lol, 3/4 of Adelaide clubbers who attend those types of festivals wouldn't have a fkn clue who Pete Tong is... big risk for that promoter putting on that event with him as headline and competing with heaven onearth

Haha I reckon. I'm not the biggest fan of Pete Tong and his mixes, but he's a real old schooler, and more well-known these days for his commentary on Radio One.

But Heaven on Earth has quite a decent line-up. But it closes at 3am... and trance comes on at Sensations in the main arena! 45,000 people in the one arena... can't effing wait.

agreed, he's quite the average producer too!

sensation will be awesome mate... it'd have to be up there compared with the big festivals overseas

i gotta do it one of these next few years... This year's will probably be one of the biggest too - very big hype from last year

Pick up the frequency from Hungry's, Macas and KFC? Oh heck yeah!

surprised they didnt say "perfect for the street drifter who need a heads up on incoming patrols"

it doesnt. had something to do with the regulations specifying that it had to be connected. didnt say it had to be connected and in use though.

correct. notice the vaccum line going to it, it was connected to the rest of the vaccum system but did sweet FA

lol

how random, a smaller and portable version of my scanner LOL

pity that all the police frequencies are on digital and encrypted (AFP, SAPOL, etc). I have a channel list somewhere that tells me most of the ones that are.

however you'll pick up ambos, rather intriguing listening to that

Rather misleading, most of the metro radios will be digitally encrypted, might be lucky to pick up a bit of chatter on open channels but nothing mainstream.

You can have a bit of fun with club security in town on a pos $40 uhf radio as most of them are too cheap to go buy a licensed frequency :(

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
