If its got tits or an engine, its going to be trouble!

In this weather I'd recommend drinking at least as much or more water as beer or whatever is you're bevvy!

My lap times on the PS3 have dropped marginally since having a few tinnies..!

thats for sure, got some sparkling to keep me cool for the time being. wishing i had reverse cycle aircon atm, evap just dont cut it

^ ouch!

you're telling me. at least nisswreck had second hand ones for 110ish. Found out that its great having a similar motor to an RB, the clutch fans are similar. RB30 one a mate hooked me for the time being is a millimetre or 2 smaller in diameter, but its better than one missing 3 fins

I'm enjoying 24 deg ducted reverse cycle, PS3 (Supercar Challenge) and ice cold Peroni(s) :D

Me I'm hitting up some ice old Smirnoff Double Black with my girlfriend with an aircon on full blast waiting for my mate to come round have a BBQ at another mate's house then head off to Heaven On Earth. :D

well, while you boys are sipping on the good stuff, eating vindaloo's, and breaking lap records of ps3, yours truly was replacing heater hoses, tailshafts and flushing oils and coolant from a truck..in the sun.

happy new year :D

Dont worry Jake, while your sweating it out i'll be at my nieces for a pool party. God i love having a 19yr old niece, cant think of a better way to bring in the new year than watching semi clad girls frolicking in the pool :P

Happy New Year to everyone

24? 23? pfffttt 22 is where its at :P

carton of corona- check

limes-check

tray of bbq meat-check

aircon running in vectra that has overheating problem-check

all set for a good night! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! :D

I still havent decided what Im doing for midnight, Ive had party invitations but I just got home from work, so its a bit of a mood killer. I'm either going to sit in my pool and get drunk, or go for a drive in the R32.

Happy New Year all, hope you have a fun and safe night.

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
