but he will feel bad if you dont go and visit him in the hospital.....think about it.....mistakes happen from everybody, so you going and seeing him will at least put his mind to rest knowing that you do care for how he is doing.....you are being too harsh on yourself Cara....just chill and go and have a chat with your mate in hospital....would be good for the both of ya

i cant go see him.........ive told him why he messaged me before. i cant go there and know that its my fault for him being in the hospital.

oh my f*#king god i just scared the crap out of myself

was turning left to continue on victoria rd from the port so its more a sweeping bend that i normaly do in 3rd,

well not today.

i have a pizza cutter on my front right because my normal wheel needs new tyre, any way went to go around as i normaly do in the rightlane and i felt like i wasnt incontrol of my car i was doing maybe 35, cause the lights were green when i got there, anyway the wheel started screaching and the car felt like it wasnt turning properly and going towards the gutter on the right so i had to down change to 2nd and apply the break.

i didnt hit anything or spin out but shit my self compleatly forgot that it was on but is this normal

This is called understeer. Smaller width tire + taking corners at speed = fail

+1

i was sure the max reccommended speed on the space saver is 80kph - having driven with one on before though, they are very unsafe to drive with altogether. I'd get the tyre sorted quick smart if you need to continue driving Kellie

Those space savers are only supposed to be run to 40km/h and they are only intended to get you to a tyre repair shop to get your original tyre fixed, they aren't supposed to drive on them for extended periods.

or if ya killa and hav an s15 like i saw today on rosetta st.....slammed, a PAIR of space savers on the rear painted black.....thing couldnt even get traction on light acceleration. had a laugh when the traffic controllers at our job took his number :(

luke its not under steer and wasnt at speed its a sweeping bend i do know how to drive!

80km is correct

If the front wheel is screeching and not turning in properly, I'm not sure what it is other than understeer. Not once did I comment you didn't know how to drive, and I didn't say you were speeding; you could be doing the speed limit on the road but given the use of the space saver you aren't driving to the speed relative to the conditions (ie. piss weak tire)

the way you wrote it seems not nice = my responce

i had a falt on the front of my car once but i didnt want to run a space saver on the front so ran the rear rim on the front and the space saver on the back.

kellie, was the space saver on the outside corner of the car while going around the corner (ie, right hand side going around a right hand bend?)

if so, the weight of the car probably shifted onto the skinny tyer and gave you understeer at a low speed. its happened to me before lol

Hey, does anyone know anyone that would be interested in buying an R33GTR RB26DETT motor? Has just under 120,000km, had 100k service done at 100,000km with new water pump, belts, fluids etc. Runs perfectly and super strong.

Brother-in-law has come across a brand new R34GTR Nur engine filled with Tomei head bits at a good price, and is not sure what his existing engine is worth or how hard it would be to sell.

Anyone have a price range and demand for such a thing.

I have become a full time student and Centerlink wont helpout with Aus Study or Youth Allowance or even a Concession Card

Might I add, I also live out of home in my own place with bills to pay.

I'm just pissed off that I'm trying to make a huge change in my life with a new career, yet some derro flamin mongrel next door who smokes more weed then what should be humanly possible can sit at home and roach up everyday with taxpaers money!

Otherwise I wouldn't care as much about getting free money. I'm still looking for a night time job so i can continue full time studies and work at the same time but it's abit harder then I thought :s

    • Seat of the pants assessment of the new intake: The car is way less "doughy" when hitting the loud pedal, especially off idle when stopped or in traffic, I did use a cheapo lazer thermal thingo to measure the temp around where the pod filter got its air, it was between 55 - 60°C, in saying this the car was shut off and not moving, so the OEM intake pipe was not supplying any fresh air to where the pod was when the car was at least moving A weird bonus was induction noise on the throttle in the cabin increased a bit,  I was worried that I was actually going to lose some of that induction noise I love so much, outside though, when I got the daughter to do a WOT drive by pass for me, the induction noise has increased alot when on the throttle, not quite ITB doort, but well up there I'm extremely happy with the results and have been exploring the country roads in the region  As for house mods: 1.New front fence is up and is awesome, it really upgraded how the joint looks from the street, and the added security is nice 2. Electricians have replace some interior lights, and with more lighting in the garage, a few new motion detecting lights out the front above the garage, front room, and at the front door, which I have already found heaps helpful coming and going, also now has fancy pants CCTV all round the house The only hold point for power though is the solar and batteries due to supply issues, although this will happen over the next few weeks 3. I have done a heap of landscaping out the front and I'm almost ready to do a new small retaining wall with some nice blocks to replace the brick and cemented in rocks around the raised garden beds cemented in river stone "was the fashion at the time" the house was built. I currently have a pallet of retaining wall blocks and 2 bulka bags of 20mm blue metal to replace the wood chip that is in the raised garden beds around the house 4. I now have 3 big raised garden beds for out the back to grow some vegetables, about 70cm high, 200cm long and 100cm wide 5. My 2 compost bins are already pretty full with brown, green and kitchen waste from the landscaping I'vedone so far, but they will probably take a few months to break down, so anything else that gets chopped, trimmed, and kitchen waste will just start filling the base of the raised garden beds to about 30cm before I start throwing 40cm of good compost, and stuff, for the vegetables to grow in, I'll need a few ton of compost and soil, but the local supplier can sent me bulka bags of the stuff Basically the logs, wood chips and a few strategically placed rocks for drainage, will give the beds some good organic materials down low to break down over time, and they will hold moisture during the warmer months to save the water in my big arse water tank if we don't get alot of rain So, all in all, the car and house mods are going well, and I'm really enjoying being retired, I sleep in too 0700 and slowly plod around inside until I feel like actually doing anything, and only work in the yard for as long as want, which has actually been alot over the last few weeks,  although when you look at it, it seems that not a huge amount of work has been done,  until I look at the before I started the work pics Happy days and good times indeed
    • hahaha yeah. Plan is to get side skirts and probably just rear pods. But going to do them one-by-one. I've got a set that I really like from RHDJapen, but that one isn't shipped to AU. So need to find someone who can get it for me
    • Here's an idea, answer the questions I asked you as they are trying to work out WHY the LSD will be binding up in a straight line.
    • You haven't driven many modern cars then have you? Most of them have sfa steering feel with their stupid electric bullshit steering systems.
