That looks dope.... I reckon it could use a shopping list tho :D (cmon do it!)

-D

nah no shopping list

was thinking either tribal again or the swirls that the 31 has :D

and steve as if u forgot the bacon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and you know why Ben? (re the last part of your paragraph) cause our prisons are full and they don't get rehabilitated in there anyway, so judges do everything in their power to keep the crooks out......ship em to Christmas Island I reckon :D

and full prisons brings me to another point

when the law starts incarcerating more than a slight minority of the population, one must start looking at the law and wondering if the law is conducive to society.

There's a trend in the USA where there are a huge majority of prisoners being kept in prison longer than is usual due to the privatisation of prisons and the inherent bribery to judges and juries that go with it.

When a society runs out of places to house convicts, it has a responsibility to itself to enquire just how many of these incarcerations are necessary. Naturally as a society grows, so does the need to house criminals, however one must always be aware about the laws, and the trinity of the police-politicians and judiciary, because without these our society would be far far less than what it is today. Whenever one of these three try to increase their power at the expense of the others, it throws the balance of the system out......

I dont know jack about our prison situation. Maybe all of them deserve to be there, and due to our population growth, we simply need to build more. Or maybe we have more people committing crime for whatever reason. To build a structure and pay a bunch of cops to mind it, does not cost millions of dollars. There is no excuse for complacency here.

Also I'll refer to your reply to finish my argument - There is no such thing as rehabilitation in a prison. Very few of the criminals sent to prison will respond to such chicken/egg mentality. How are you gonna be rehabilitated in a place where you're in constant fear of your anal virginity, physical and psychological wellbeing, etc etc... I dont know a single person who'd be able to enjoy prison, in spite of grandstanding and shit talking

In either case, for once Mark Webber was right

This country is becoming a nanny state

and I f**king hate it

easy fix Ben, bring back the gallows and reintroduce rock breaking as a recreational activity in the 5 star Mobolong.....that'll free up room in our prisons, lol

yeah cos all the fat playstation playing mofos like me will perish in the first week from a heart attack. gg peat ;P

don't speak about prison unless you've been there because you make an ass out of u and me

do you believe in defense in truth? that there is absolute truth and if what you say is absolute then you shouldn't stand guilty

cores are fine. for most applications theyre just as good as the big name jap cores. piping kits are generally garbage though.

solution, buy a cooling pro core, and have someone like andrew at am performance do the pipe work.

look who is gonna be back on the streets of adelaide next week.......

front bar needs to die in a fire and be replaced with a nismo or something tasteful.

same story for the wheels. f**k 'em off and buy 34 GTR's, or maybe some white xd9's in decent size and offset.

2 tone paints alright though. i could almost dig it.

anyone know where i can get 2p1s stickers from?

I got one you can have for a hug and/or kiss

Pete i thought Shannons was on our SAUSA sponsor list

They are a club supporter, not a sponsor.

Hi everyone,

I wish to take this oppertunity apologize and say sorry to anyone that i have had an argument with. I have said some nasty things and people have said nasty things to me but now is the time to stop all this because life is really to short to be doing this.

I have sent Heslo a message on here and on FB to see if we can talk about things and work things out.

I am a nice person and i would do anything to help someone out, including getting a phone call at 3am and going in my PJ's to pick someone up from town cause they have no way to get home and lots of other things as well but the people that really know me know this.

The conversations that have been going on in here have portrayed me and other people to new members and others in a way in a way to which we are not nice people but we all are kind and caring, but sometime things are happening in our lives that just one little thing sets off a snow ball of shit.

Somethimes we need to watch what we say to others, me included, about anything as they could upset someone without you knowing it. At the end of the day we are all on here for a reason, our cars and for some of us we have made some wonderful friendships and without SAU would probably have never have happened.

I have been camping with Damo, Adrian, Scott, Adam and the girlfriends and we had the best time ever, I have been partying with Chad and i have become best friends with Dion and James, Roo, Nene, Ben and Tracy.

From now on I'm going to play nice

Regards Kellie

lol. are you the authority on prison now steve? did u drop the soap?

do you believe in defense in truth? that there is absolute truth and if what you say is absolute then you shouldn't stand guilty

of course not, what kind of a question is that? Truth is a mitigating factor in the sentencing procedure, not the prosecution of an offence. During sentencing all extenuating circumstances are weighed up, including pleading guilty at the first opportunity and co-operating with police.

Good letter Kellie, i know sometimes i have a dig at you all in good fun but may be miss construed i will think before posting more :) will try any ways

Ben i didn't mean your/my version of truth i meant truth ie if i throw this ball in the air it must come down

Lol no soap for me.

Yeah I got what u meant, but you wont get off a guilty conviction if you a) tell the truth and a jury finds you guilty or b) you plead guilty in the pre-trial hearing

Co-operation and honesty only help reduce a sentence, as does remorse/contrition, mental illness, provocation, etc etc

If you're interested, head down to your local library and get a book called 'Getting justice wrong' by the NSW DPP Nick Cowdery. Probably one of the most well written books about how the justice system works, namely the interaction between the lawmakers (pollies) enforcers (police, magistrates), public defenders (lawyers, barristers) and the correctional facilities (prison, youth detention)... worth reading imho if you have even a passing interest in law

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
