Removing The Gts Sticker.

hey guys i want to remove the GTS sticker on the boot lid. has anyone ever removed this sticker? how did you do it? and was there any darker paint under the sticker?

uhh mine came off when I lightly scratched it off lightly with my fingernail. It was an r33gtst and half pealing already though, and no it didnt damage the paint or leave any visible marks except the paint underneath being slightly less aged as would be expected

used my credit card and a heap of windex afterward, no prob .... my car is white though so it may have different effect due to how faded your paint is.

Just use your fingernails. If you have difficulty taking it off warm it up a bit with a blow driver or leave the car out on the sun all day.

boiled water and for the excess glue, metholated spirits should do the job

f**k that ^ good way to strip the clear/paint

use a product called "de-solv it" you can get from bunnings/mitre 10 ect to get rid of adhesive and polish to finish

meths wont strip the paint. All it will do is take the wax off.

The only thing that can happen, is if your cars been unlucky and has had a touch of acid rain here and there it can leave a mark around where the sticker was. But rubbing compound and a good buff with clear it up
