I rang aus post yesterday and today about them and still nothing registered there! They said sorry we can't help u have to speak to the seller! I'm trying to contact them again as I told them I needthe injectors by friday for a 7:30am dyno Thats been arranged already, they said u will have them by Friday!

Yesterday they said don't worry u will have them on ur door yesterday today the latest!

But aus post has nothing in the system yet, someone pleasE help me out this is getting me stressed. No $1200 no injectors no idea what's going on.

Seriously, who books a tune when they dont have their parts all ready to go?

Someone that has everything ready waiting for the injectors to drop in!

And I was told multiple times I would have injectors before Friday, this is a company that had them in stock just needed to be posted! I would have brought from someone else if he couldn't make the Friday deadline.

Obviously I made a mistake as I'm for ur not perfect so don't put shit on me thanks.

there might be a collection slip waiting for you in your mail box when you get home! As for Aus post and their tracking numbers......they never seem to be able to see them in the system? dont know why this is but have been told the same thing several times too

Tracking number always show up on the auspost website after 2days for sure (this is stated on the website). Never had any problem with them not appearing. It is annoying when parts dont turn up, especially if you're paying extra thinking it would be faster than importing.

Sliding Performance is quiet slow to ship off there products

They also claim items to be in stock which arent, I ordered a greddy intake plenum (which they confirmed was in stock) from them before but after a few weeks of waiting

and countless PMs they finally replied stating it wasnt in stock and had stock comming from japan but with no ETA date

After a few more weeks of waiting just canceled the order and got a refund (quick refund though) and went to CRD who actually had stock when they say they have stock

Ok, here is what you do.

Go to the calendar. Look at what day it is.

IT'S THURSDAY, CLOWN!

And as for Auspost, I've sent shit to Cairns before and it hasn't arrived for two weeks. Besides, I thought I read in your other panic thread that they sent the via Fast track or whatever. Not Auspost.

In your last post. didnt slide mention it was getting sent thru fastway couriers not auspost?

have you tried putting the con note on the fastway site..?

I also have bought alot of stuff thru slide over the last few yrs..

will i every buy again from them? no.

ban stick needs to be waived...

this is the forced induction section

FCUK OFF

Chill out mate, no need to be big and swear through the computer :P u could have just said don't post this type of topic in forced induction. But u want to be an ethug about it.

Ofcourse I'm panicing cause I don't know wtf is going on they till me one thing then tell me another... He sent me a pm on late Tuesday saying ok it's sent by auspost of it's not there Wednesday will be definately by Thursday, and I rang auspost and they don't know shit about this parcel so I have a right to be worried! I know I said I need by Friday and it's not Friday buy I wad told latest Thursday.

If u spent $1200 and didn't know wtf was going on I'm sure u would be stressed aswell.

Ok im home and they just arrived, so just on sliding defence they did arrive on thursday

"but auspost didnt have it registered as picked up so thats why i was stressed about them being lost/stolen/not sent"

sorry for any inconvenience to sliding performance, but 1 thing it didnt come with a reciept and the injectors were just in bubble wrap with no box.

how do i tell if they are genuine 740cc nismo rb25 injectors?

Hahahahaha, so true.

Why cant people think in advance?!

i did think in advance when i arranged it cause i said to him ill call friday afternoon to let u know if my parts arrived or not

so u know if im still going to come on monday and that was fine. but thats not the point the point was i had no way of knowing

what was going on cause they dont reply to messages often and auspost was a shit fight and sliding has no number to ring them on

which is a real pain in the ass.

    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
    • Place the new daughterboard in the case and mount it using the 3 small black rivets provided, and reconnect the 3 factory ribbon cables to the new board Then, use the 3 piggyback cables from the daughterboard into the factory board on top (there are stand offs in the case to keep them apart. and remember to reconnect the antenna and rear cover fan wires. 1 screw to hold the motherboard in place. Before closing the case, make a hole in the sticker covering a hole in the case and run the cable for the android unit into the plug there. The video forgot this step, so did I, so will you probably. Then redo the 4 screws on back, 2 each top and bottom, 3 each side and put the 2 brackets back on.....all ready to go and not that tricky really.
    • Onto the android unit. You need to remove the top screen because there is a daughterboard to put inside the case. Each side vent pops out from clips; start at the bottom and carefully remove upwards (use a trim remover tool to avoid breaking anything). Then the lower screen and controls come out, 4 screws, a couple of clips (including 3 flimsy ones at the top) and 3 plugs on the rear. Then the upper screen, 4 screws and a bunch of plugs and she is out. From there, remove the mounting brackets (2 screws each), 4 screws on the rear, 2 screws top and bottom and 3 screws holding in the small plates on each side. When you remove the back cover (tight fit), watch out for the power cable for the fan, I removed it so I could put the back aside. The mainboard is held in by 1 screw in the middle, 1 aerial at the top and 3 ribbon cables. If you've ever done any laptop stuff the ribbon cables are OK to work with, just pop up the retainer and they slide out. If you are not familiar just grab a 12 year old from an iphone factory, they will know how it works The case should now look like this:
    • Switching the console was tricky. First there were 6 screws to remove, and also the little adapter loom and its screws had to come out. Also don't forget to remove the 2 screws holding the central locking receiver. Then there are 4 clips on either side....these were very tight in this case and needed careful persuading with a long flat screw driver....some force required but not enough to break them...this was probably the fiddliest part of the whole job. In my case I needed both the wiring loom and the central locking receiver module to swap across to the new one. That was it for the console, so "assembly is the reverse of disassembly"
