Merli.. did you use kanji kit for that?

That was katakana, not kanji... Katakana is the japanese character set used for words borrowed from other languages, like "drift" :D

And yeah, I installed the Japanese Language/Regional Settings in Windows and I'm able to swap between english and japanese (all three character sets)

すごいですね!! ^_^

nomuemon = nomura monster?

Quite possibly :D

He's such a character :) When I met him last year at Tokyo Auto Salon, he was drawing his little Uras Monkey on the cover of his catalogs and signing them for people and taking photos with them.

He looks just like a monkey

Kanji Kit is a program that you can use to type in japanese characters

so if you wanted to get this:

すごいですね

you type:

su co ii de su ne

its a good program, very useful..

Ahhh... I see...

Nope, It's actually an option in Windows... You install two locations.

Australia, and Japan.

And it installs character sets for both languages on your computer. You get a little toolbar where you can choose your lanugage set and the same thing happens when you choose Japanese.

Type in bakamono and you get ばかもの... No need for 3rd party software, Windows does it all azndance.gif

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
