im curious as to how the visitors go about getting the cars around and stuff while over here?? do they organise it, grab a yellow pages and find a tilt tray... or does the event organiser take care of them and organise everything they need??

where are the cars kept?? at the track?? at their hotel?? at the event coordinators house/workshop etc??

im just wondering if theres 10 full blown time attack cars sitting in a hotel carpark somewhere... that would be a fantastic sight.

Yeah no one is going to know where the international cars are which I think is GREAT!

They might make an apperance at the practice days before the event but not 100% on that

I don't know much about Eastern Creek so I'm probably way off but

PRO - I agree witht he general concensus, 32.

OPEN - I don't really know the track or cars well enough to make any sensible guess. How good is the Lotus Boz is driving?

CLUB - I can't really see people being faster than 46 on street rubber.

i'm with marlin. if track is good 1:32 will win pro. if tracks off it could be as 'slow' as a 1:34. so maybe middle ground of a 33 will be on the money. eastern creek does vary a bit depending on track condition.

open class maybe 1:36 to win on a good day 1:38 on a slow day.

club is an interesting one. I'm not really sure but I'd guess the top guys will be in the low 40s. maybe a dead 40 or 41 will do it.

Where's Bosso, surely he's got an idea on what his little Honda will run..??

After I congratulated Mark I suggested he should get back to the shed and finish his 34 and Russell's 32

yeah thinking about it more you could be right. I still think around 33/34 for pro, maybe a 35 if the track is really slow. open shouldn't be much more than 2 seconds or so off that pace. maybe 3 seconds?

yeah I wasn't implying you had any nasty intentions. I know 99% of people would be interested to know where they are to take a few pics and respectfully enjoy the cars but sadly there is that 1% out there somewhere. I was just trying to explain why they would never want that info posted on a forum or the like that's all. I wasn't trying to be funny either.

Will be blazing the laurel around track, for sale if anyones interested in coming and having a look at it.

Would love to not have to pay for transport back to perth for it

big ups for coming all the way across for SL. good luck in selling the laurel too, it's a great venue to try and do it as there will be lots of potential customers and they get to see it perform on track too.

My prediction, a low 1:33 will win Pro. A 1:38 will win Open...and a cheating GTR will win the R35 GTR class with a low 1:43 At least the EVOS have been out electotoothbrushed with the R35

gotta be more than a 10 sec gap between Club and Pro though surely... tyres + pro driver would be 10 sec at least

I'm with Troy.

An R35 GTR on streets (Damn good streets, RE070's or whatever) will be quicker than a lot of open cars on semi's.
