Hey,

My brother and his friends need some rides to his yr12 formal.

They happy to chip in $30 per person for your time/petrol (thats like $200 if you own a mini-van!! :bunny:)

They may chip in more depending on the car obviously.

Looking at either r34 GTR's, r35 GTR :) and/or any classic cars etc.

Looking around 2-4 cars (mini cruise yo~)

Its on this friday at 7pm and the formal is at Brighton.

Please let me know if you are willing to help!!! I asked 4yrs ago for my own formal rides and many sau people were happy to help! I hope the generosity of sau hasnt changed for the worse over the past 4yrs :D

Quick shout out to Paulr33, bass junky, adzmax and another r34 (cant remember name) who carted my arse to the formal many moons ago :(

Thanks All!

- Patrick

I would but i only got 2 seats - so i guess i can only help any losers who are going on their own without a date! LOL

Either that or drive it yourself and take your date and stop traffic everywhere! but that'll cost way more than 30 thanks very much

oh crap, just re-read the thread - mines a 33 so not good enough for ya :P

Needs to be at the formal place at 7pm?

So what time is the pickup? I work on Coburg so might get stuck in traffic heading that far east.. I can try and leave work a tad earlier.

This would be my first meeting of other SAU people if others join in hahaha.

His GTR shits all over my GTT :P *hides*

I think the 34/35 requirement pretty much limits it's to 34s haha.

If someone is willing to drive some guys to a formal in their R35, I'll double the amount their paying for a ride!

LOL imagine if that happened, some 17/18 yo kids gets a lift in a R35 to formal, they'd be the coolest kids at school, even more cooler than sitting at the back of the bus! LOL

By the way, I just carbon fibre wrapped my door pillars, so I think thats a +1 for my car! haha :D

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
