Electric Window Not Grabbing In R33 Gtr

Hey just wondering if anyone can save me the expense of getting a mechanic to check this out.

The drivers side electric window doesn't work, i can hear the motor working but it doesn't move the window up or down.

Not sure what to replace/fix?

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

sounds like somethings come loose.. i would try take door trim off and inspect..

+1, sounds like the clips that hold the window have come loose.....

Yeah its the motor itself, inside the motor its like a clutch almost. Its got a rubber outer ring which is worn and is slipping.

Took me a while to get it out and im pretty sure its going to take me even longer to put another one back in.

Once the trim is off, i dont see any other way other than sliding everything up through the top (correct me if im wrong).

If anyone can help me on this it would be awsome!

Haven't done this since '98.

Just got a new motor and popped everything back in reverse order. But hey, that was my son's XR6 lol
