Hey all, new member here! I thought I'd introduce myself and my new car which i bought just last week.

She's a R31 Executive 4spd auto, Burgandy with 132,000 km, I picked her up for $3200, getting my RWC done this week.

Runs beautifully, panels are dead straight, i can't see any flaws with this car, one ding in the quarter panel but there's nothing that can't be pushed back out.

nothing in the inteerior os cracked, broken, worn, it all looks close to new! i'm so lucky I found this in such good condition

Your going to spend upwards of $5k on rims and tyres on a car worth $3k?

I said something like that style, i know those rims cost a fortune... I am just picky when it comes to style :)

cut the guy some slack :) it's probably his first car or something and excited to have it!

My first car was something very similar and although it gave me freedom I was well aware of what I was driving.

Im sure it is a clean car and will most likely be reliable etc but talkin about stylin, $4k rims etc... bit much

Mate completely agreed 100%! and i'm sure that he will realise, personally if i was that keen on rims i would shop around and for 500-800 you can get some second hand ones with decent meat, otherwise the rims are worth more than the car.

and if you gonna spend 4k on rims u can just my a N/A r32 maybe even an r33.

Anyways welcome to the club buddy and don't spend all your cash on the rims :) Take the advise

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
