But seriously folks, if you can manage to pick up a few basic tools you can remove your own sparkplugs easy as hell. A bit more mucking about than some engines but it's not exactly rocket science!

A soft bristled toothbrush, some carby cleaner & elec contact cleaner will give your plugs a fresh lease of life, not too harsh with the scrubbing though.

I did mine about a month ago (as in took them out and cleaned them) but then about 3 weeks after, they started playing up again.

So I just replaced them with Champion GOLD plugs.

All I can recommend is to be carefull when pulling the electrical plug off the back of each coil. the clip you have to press down to unclip it is very VERY FRAGILE and will break.

I broke 2 while being extra careful. It will work fine with out the little clipping bit but it is still nicer to have it intact.

The clips get that way because of the heat that is in there.
