hey brandon is there any other meet points to make life easier for people coming from the other side of town?

Sorry unfortunately not, I haven't had the time due to other commitments . If you are coming watch out for the Todd Rd entrance its a bit tricky with the roadworks they are doing at the moment.

yeh thanks mate i'm aware of those but i was just thinking maybe another stop along the princess perhaps?

Nathan: You know I am looking at returning back to a GT-R myself. Love the Evo but whenever I see a GT-R, I wish I was driving mine again. Have you seen Matt Tangs NUR aka TangoMatt, that car is awesome.

lol every flamin mongrel on this forum has seen that thing its a work of art

I have invited Matt to come along but I think he may be o/seas as he hasn't replied. But we have bigger issues .. Rain forecasted.

If it rains it will probably be postponed guys. Check the link in the first post for up to date status.

Hey Mate,

If you email me on [email protected] I will give you the details of our first stop which you can meet up with us there.

As for another stop on Princess Hwy, afraid not we have too many stops already and will be pressed for time to get to lunch by 2pm I reckon.

Thanks

B

PS: Next year I will seriously look into making another meet/stop to suit you guys better.

Hey brandon

Sorry for not replying to your invite. Its very rude of me.

I will definitely try and attend. However, my car has its interior stripped out, so I have no air conditioner, stereo etc. Might be too long a cruise with no stereo

Cheers

Matt

i shall be in attendance.

sorry guys was really looking forward to this but i have to give it a miss.. my interior is in 1000 pieces and im working all day tom/sat.

spewin... ah well next time. photos or ban! enjoy.

Matt: No hassles at all btw your car looks even better in the flesh. Green with Envy.

Hey Guys

Just a quick update, weather is looking a bit uncertain.

Please check the link in the original post prior to leaving for the meet, if cancelled it will clearly state that.

So far it looks like a go.

Thanks

B

Thanks to everyone who came. We got about 30 cars of various makes and models.

I apologise for the cruise map which was a bit off track. We also had to take an alternate route to Colac due to a motobike fatality on Skenes Creek rd. Overall I think it all went smoothly.

When we have some pics I will post them

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
