i bought a hilux for 200 dollars....threw a battery init put some 2nd hand tyres onit, adjusted the brake pedal so it seemed good and went and got a rwc...all he did was look at the eng number, tell me to put a battery clamp on(i 4got one) and stick his head under the bum of it and say put a shackle rubber in there(rear leaf hanger)....and it passed no probs...that what u want? in bris southside

exactly.. not every place is going to check exactly the same thing or pick up the same things. Depends on their agenda doesn't it (make money off it, or just do it at as a service and pick up the genuinely unsafe things).

There is always places that are less strict than others, its just a matter of finding them...
