The show was pretty good. Was a bit better than the one last year. I think may was a better choice to partner clarkson this year. And the third guy was Greg Murphy this time...not the other kiwi guy from oz top gear. We did the paddock pass backstage thing which was pretty kool. Get to go look at the cars up close and go on the burnout pad etc. Would recommend it if you go.

Well im back from the show and i have to say i enjoyed it. Once again it was a good show even if they didnt have car soccer like last year haha. It was all pretty good really and i think it could of gone for longer really but oh well will just have to wait till next year :)

Saterday night 8pm show was awesome :D loved it to bits ... had some good humor and lots of cool stuff ... especially loved the heat changing paint that the Focus stunt team cars were painted in ...

They were dark grey then went into this big heat booth thing and came out white .... ( AWESOME )

Also loved the 1.3 million dollar rolls royce :D

Also took some pics of the GTR in all of its glory ... love that car

I also took part in the Harley davidson Dyno drags and on the dyno I ran an 11.18 second 1/4 mile :) not bad for my first go :( stuffed the start and could have been quicker again with practice those bikes were heaps cool ... a little bit different to the 09 Suzuki GSXR 750 that I ride ...

The show was good. A pity they only used half the arena so they had to try and fit alot of car stunts in a tiny space. Imagine what they could have done with the whole arena? But then where would they park the 30 cars they brought with them I guess. I arrived early so I got to have a good look at all the exhibits. Didnt see you among the 10 thousand attendees Gem, maybe next time lol.

I agree the show could be so much better if they had more room, but yeh it would be hard to fit it all in including the Tractor they had as well.

I thought it was pretty good, the missus got me front row seats in Row II, in the middle, the flames were really hot!

That Murphy dude killed it though, he wasn't funny, he wasn't witty.. The show would have been much better if it was just James May and Jeremy Clarkson IMO

And Hammond.

Why do they keep choosing kiwis as the 3rd presenter...Last year it was that dude from top gear oz.

Yeh +1 for voting that the 3 of them should come out would be way better.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
