Man that really stings. I remember reading your post not long after you first posted it. Last week I was at a customers site and one of them was from out your way and saw the cop cars and ambo's rushing over there. She went on to say about how it came up about the car being stolen.

There was no waythose bastards were going to get away from that in a hurry, but it is a shame that they busted up your pride and joy. At least you weren't in the car with them...

It's been over a month now and I finally have a new car! I ended up getting a black r33 gts-t 2 door manual. Even though I still really miss my old car I must say that this one definitly fills the void. I can't wait to take it out for some cruises!

Nice! That's a sweet ride. Make sure you get some security measures on that car pronto. 3 point immobiliser, another hidden kill switch, heck get a club lock too. Or to really be sure it's safe at night, put a wheel clamp on it.

I like the rims on the car. Anything done to it, or is it pretty much stock?

Cool, im sure you will be keeping a closer eye on this one!

This one can actually get in the garage unlike the last one lol

got a club lock for it and i wanna get a wheel clamp as well. It has a car alarm in it but i dont think its hooked up at the moment. Im not really too good with electrics so i think i'll take it to an auto electrician. Yea i didn't like the rims at first but there starting to grow on me. tyres are friggin expensive though. the rears are 275/30/r19 and the fronts are 245/35/r19. Only mods it has is a front strut brace, rear strut brace, tein suspension, blitz muffler, tomei electronic hicas lock, so engine wise its completly stock. I've since put in a few parts from my old car: coilpacks, tomei fuel pump, hks, ssqv and my enclosed pod.

Glad to hear you didn't have to wait too long to get back on the road mate. All the best with the new ride :(

thanks guys!

thieves deserve to have both their hands cut off and legs cut from the knee's down to make sure they can't walk or touch another thing that doesn't belong to them.

have had a few people steal shit from my car and these people have no clue what the hell someone has to do to get their pride and joy to where it is.

worse thing is when it's friends and people you know, you just learn not to trust people anymore.

good to hear it was insured though matey... hope the next ride is as good as the last one

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
