Respray in a week or two. What's a good red? I want something dark + non-stock looking. Maybe a metallic or something.

here's a novel idea. spray it the same colour as the rest of the car and save yourself some money?

how important is the strap that connects to the cat converter? because i have no where to put it on my new one that i just fitted.

it earths the sensor. i'd say pretty important ;) unless your exhaust is earthed in some other way.

For all the work getting done, it's basically the same price to respray the whole car.

Vu said my paint is faded so colour matching won't be 100% perfect anyway, hence the full respray.

Either way, I'm stoked with the price I'm getting! Also getting the front guards pulled at the same time ;)

not sure about your box though rimon. r34's are different with their tiptronic stuff. but i got mine done at knox automatics. off kellets road in rowville. a little bit too east for you i rekon. talk to Bass Junky. from memory he was putting very respectable power through his r34 box. sold the car but it used to be grey

two sith max, jedi order was a force of hundreds. dont argue with a nerd bro

Have you not seen Return of the Jedi? :ermm: There's like 2 Jedis left.. and the darkside has millions of stormtroopers and other minions!

red goes faster

ah ok yeah that is a bit too far i just wanna get the kit and put it in myself, was looking at a DIY on here before, pretty straight forward job.

these MV kits seem to be the most popular but aparently are only available in SA or something?

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
