I'm going to make a long story short... Had some punk kids (about 15 - 16 years old) on a bus abusing some old lady.

Saying disrespectful shit and spraying deodorant on her back while they where sitting behind her.

I roughed up one of the punk kids giving all the mouth "leader" and searched for ID or a phone in his bag. There was about 5 of them.

They where like "Mate, BRO, mate, you cant do that."

My reply was "Yeah and you cant abuse your elders either, learn some respect this is a f**king citizens arrest for disturbing the peace."

Anyway at this time bus driver stopped and told them to get of the bus.

I found a phone called his "mum" in phone book and told her what had happened...

She did not give a flying f**k so I told her no wounder why her son is a prick with a mother like her self.... End story.

That's about as much as I could do.... Some really retarded parents out there.

Reminds me of a scene a few months ago whilst waiting for the ferry at the bottom of Barrack Street.

A couple - both about 17-18 -, both drunk, being extremely abusive to an older couple; swearing, insults etc. Not sure why but something had been said. What was +100 times embarrassing was that the older couple had two girls with them ~6-8 y/o who had to endure the expletives from these two foul mouthed kids. Totally shameless behavior. The younger guy threatening to beat up the older guy. I mean WTF who says that to a guy who has his kids with him? It's cowardly.

Cmon 8:30pm on a weekend is hardly late. When I was a kid I was allowed out till 10:30pm and that was back when I was 11, a 7:30pm curfew would be a joke

Why does a child need to be out roaming the streets when its dark?

They are roaming the streets coz they have nothing to do....so they make their own fun which is normally someone else problem....basically, they will get up to no good.

Kids have no respect for their elders these days. :)

When i was younger i was certainly no angel (I know that might be hard to believe but its true) but we were certainly taught respect and manners.

no it would be safe

because the majority of ppl under 16 that stay out past 7:30 are up to no good. eg spud guns, drinking, egging, tagging, and just being a general nuisance.

and if under 16yr olds still think it is bad when there 18 well they will have voting power and the law will be scrapped

and any way kids have MSN, facebook, myspace, SAU to communicate on so they dont need to be hanging out on the streets

a curfew would give power to the police and force parents to be responsible both good things

wouldn't work. Don't agree with it. 7:30 is very early you can't just confine people to their houses for such a long time.

Doesn't say alot about your parents to be honest. I think a curfew is a great idea, unless there accompanied by an adult.

I bet if I told my teenage kids to hide in the bushes on Albany Highway and throw rocks at cop cars only, they would be arrested. Do you think they would let that ride like they did with Brad? I doubt it.

Why then should these pricks get away with it?

It seems like the paperwork would have been to much for them.

To get drunk and have fun.

When I was 15 we used to go out binge drinking in the local park.

Part of growing up.

Never caused a nuisance like throwing rocks or anything.

comes down to bad parenting, plain and simple.

Not much you can do unfortunately.

Also caused by those who do nothing but breed continuously like a bug so they can continue to leech off center link child support payments.

Also, how much effort would they put in IF it was the policeman's wife and kid who the rock was thrown at?

Tony, i agree drinking way too much is all part of growing up and i accept that....but throwing rocks at cars which can and has killed in the past....that is way over a line.

TenFour....."Quite the angel aren't I?".....you can lie to your parents, but dont lie to us mate LOL

Hey brad, sucky story.

It happened to phil and i a few years ago, im not going to go into details, but yeah, luckily the car wasnt damaged.

Some kids are up to no good.

But i was always extremely well disciplined as a kid, always had a curfew, always taught to respect the elders even with small things like giving up your seat on the bus.

Im only 21 and most kids these days make me want to throw rocks at their faces, they agitate me so much. Then again i still know plenty of people my age or older with no respect for anyone or anything

But hey Brad, least you guys are ok :ermm: No serious injuries.

How the fk do people get off throwing rocks at cars, seriously...

It's what groups of undisciplined and unsupervised kids and young men do...they egg each other on to more and more daring/reckless activities. On their own they probably wouldn't do it.

To the Op,

Next time don't call the police while you had them all sitting there, im sure you know this now. You could:

1. Rob them and search for ID... lol If you find ID, take it and give a "threat" if you see them hanging around again you will blah blah blah..

2. Also you could do the classic call there parents on the phone you find then smash the phone in front of them.

3. If they have a watch or some chains/rings or something just f**king take it and say "This is compensation for the damage you have caused to my car"

4. And if they had nothing worth taking just take their shoes... Lets hope there wearing there best trainers! haha

People should add to this list, "What to do when kids throw rocks at your car and get caught"...

Yes I'm a bad example but im sure they will be going home thinking twice about throwing rocks at cars.

Not defending the cops... in my experience they have become bone lazy... they use the excuse that pursue something through legal channels to justify doing nothing at all...

Going against the grain here, I was a bit of a lout in my younger days, like most of you probably... got drunk in parks at 15, being loud and obnoxious (no different to today actually)... We used to get hassled by the cops a bit, which just drives you to hide better... maybe what they are trying to achieve... go to a mates house instead of the park...

I know that then, if the cops called my parents and told them I had been seen throwing rocks at a car, or even if it was suspected that I did it, my parents would have crucified me... and I think that today most parents would...

I know that if the cops had taken legal action, the parents would have lawyered up, and the case would be shot down... but I reckon in 90% of cases, a call to the parents to come and pick their drunk child up who is suspected of thowing rocks at cars would have had the desired outcome... but the cops would rather wait until the kids get into break and enter, and then take action...

And if they call the parents, and they don't give a shit, nothing is really lost is it...

I used to have respect for GD cops, but now, I have little confidence...

Cheers,

Daewoo

    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
