Cant Remove Gear Knob, Suggestions?

I'm trying to remove this damn gearknob and not having any luck, doesnt seem to have any allen key or screws holding it in and it doesnt want to twist off! Is there some kind of trick to it with the R32 GTRs or has some stupid ass owner in the past glued the bloody thing on?

shit dude, that looks welded/glued on for sure. The gear knob is not supposed to be that low on the stick.

Nah, my NISMO knob sits that low. Wrap a rag around it, then try and use some multigrips. If that doesnt work... may I suggest hacksaw??

its probably just locktite.... i use it on my gearknobs.

just twist it REAL hard

I've used multigrips and kept twisting until it started to twist the whole shaft uh oh

um, it kind of looks like the bottom of the gear knob might unscrew to reveal some allenkey screws. well at least it looks like it in the pic.

Yeh mad082 is right, there's 3 screws holding it down, that bottom piece must be jammed or glued... I have the same gearknob
