Hi all

A friend is producing a new kids magazine (aimed at 7-14 y/o) and are running an article on Initial D. As part of this, they want to show photos of 'real-life' versions of the cars.

If anyone has hi-res (300dpi is needed for print so the bigger the better) photos that they own and would like to have them appear in the mag - please send me the pic. If it is not your car, you need to have the owner's permission to use it.

They aren't able to offer much incentive to supply pictures (ie: needs to be done out of the goodness of your heart) - but the photographer will be credited and the SAU site will cop a plug. I will supply a copy of the magazine to people too.

They would also like some info on the cars themselves - mods, features etc

I need:

Toyota AE86 Trueno (panda - white/black two tone)

Mazda FD RX-7 (yellow)

Mazda FC RX-7 (white)

Honda EG Civic hatch (red)

Nissan R32 Skyline GTR (black)

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo4 (white)

the hard one

Nissan S13 Sileighty (blue)

Colours are not super-critical - I can always alter them in Photoshop.

And... I need them by the end of the week.

Thanks very much in advance. Email me with any questions.

Cheers

James

I know someone with a panda trueno, and also someone with a blue sil80 although it has a gt wing and chromies, so doesnt exactly fit the profile of impact blue.

Will have a talk to them and see what can be done :(

What about a blue "Wide-body SilEighty"

It is in the QLD events Gallery here ... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/gallery/q...051003/IMG_0036

and here ... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/gallery/q...imga0534?full=1

The owner is "Nightmare" on these forums, PM him he may have better pics.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
