Thanks to all who came, hope you all enjoyed. Hopefully the pace was all up to everyones standards and the maps were up to scratch. :(

The pace was perfect....didn't read the map found it easier to follow everyone else but the map was very helpful when i found out where we were up to.

Good stuff, usually do that route a LOT faster so I wasn't sure if the pace was too slow/fast. Glad to see you enjoyed yourself :)

Oh and it was definitely an awesome sight looking back and seeing 20ish odd Skylines following in procession :(

Great cruise, well done SAUSA. Next time I will have my car - because Im about to go out to the shed and put it back together!

Thanks to JMW for lending me his passenger seat for the cruise, and thanks to Aberax for lending me parts to get my car going again :(

looks like it was an awesome morning, would love to have been there, but had the mrs bday last night so wasnt really in the state to drive this morning... oh and the fact i did my ankle at footy yesterday makes driving a little hard.... will deff come to the next one

Bah - i really need to get over my social phobia (i dont deal with new people too well..) and get out to meet all you SAU:SA people some time ...

Yes ... yes you should :(

Good, well set up cruise today, well done to all that organised it. Also thanks to Abe for sparing his passenger seat for me. :(

No problem, hopefully you didnt get too scared :D, and hopefully you didn't give me your cold. Shame you couldn't stay for breakfast, was fantastic.

No problem Dion, they were just sitting around doing nothing.

For some strange reason, I noticed after the cruise the rear of my car is making a weird rubbing noise, I think the rear brake discs are warped or rubbing on something, as it got worse as I drove home :S...but at least my brake squeal is somewhat gone.

Route was good, would like to do it again, but with more sleep before hand.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
