check here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...kes-t82083.html, it answered all my questions, i've got r33 gtst (sumitomos) 4 pots and gtr discs on the front of mine but as they were on it when i got it i couldn't say if they were a straight swap.

Not a straight swap but close enough. R33 gtr have the same bolt pattern but require a small spacer and a sleeve. R32 gtr just require a sleeve.

The M35 uses 14mm bolts and the Sumitomo's run 12mm bolts.

The braking doesn't feel much stronger, just more consistent and they don't fade like the stockers. Also performance pads are easy to find.

Pretty simple upgrade as long as you have wheels big enough to fit them.

I Just picked up a set off ebay and will be doing the same conversion next week when they arrive.

This threads a bit old.....if you want to go bigger R33 GTR rotors and callipers should bolt straight up as well

looking at getting D2'S 356 but they dont list them for the stagea so will it be the 350 z or the skyline gts or gtr or the v35 dont know which , think they will be more like the 350 z ?

I used my lathe to spin up the spacer tube so it fits over the 12mm thread. It has to be 1mm thick, 12mm internal and 14 mm external. 12mm long I think. From what I have seen the r33/r34 gtr will also require a small spacer between the calliper and mount also, the r32 gtr callipers I used didn't, the disk was perfectly centered in them.

Im not sure what the r33 disks are but the r32 gtr disks are 32mm. The M35 disks are about 20mm thick.

M35 fronts are 24-25mm thick, R33 are larger than R32, so will be much thicker than the standard M35 discs.

is there a kit out there to fit the mn35 , or does it share the same brake kit as a difrenet car like the v35 ?

K Sport do a 6 & 8 Pot kit for them. . pretty straight forward. . .but cost is around $2400 a pair. . use Brembo rotors for replacement and various pads like hawk and ferodo . .

A & B motor sports and others do them. . here in Sydney. . just google k sport and you will see options. . they are the V35 skyline ones.

Well I have my 33 twin pot front callipers and crossed drilled slotted 32gtr disc.Wish me luck cause I will probably need it. Appreciate your help. Cad

What wheels do you have Scotty as the 33 callipers hit my standard wheels

17 x 9 inch Driftek's, (+30 I think) they fit like a glove other than the fronts hang out half an inch.

The rim clears the curved brace under the coilover by 3mm and I have 235 45 17 Kumho KU36 tyres. (speedo is out by 11 ks at 100.) Highly recommended.

Hey scotty dont want to appear stupid but will the offset stop the rim from hitting the R33 upgrade callippers or is it the shape of th basket on the rim.

    • Hi, i’m making a rb25det coil loom for Vag short coil. Can anybody tell me which Ecu signal wire belong to coil number 1 and 2,3,4,5,6? The connecting switch in above pic is 8 wire i think white is for +12v and black for earth.

    • Its a 2002 vr-x four VQ25DET, silver. Coil overs, lowered, polished alloys and sport exhaust. Bit of a project, was sitting in a shed for a while but runs and drives great.
    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
