Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine wing or a cheap imitation? the seller says its an alloy wing, are the factory wings alloy?

if you dont know what your looking at then it really doesnt matter if its real or not

if you buy it and it works fine and looks fine and your happy who cares

tell him youll give him a $50 bag as its most likely what he paid for it if he doesnt know much about it

and why is it primer ??

I know what I'm looking at, its meant to be a r34 gtr spoiler and i want to know if its genuine so i know its going to fit properly and not fall apart for some odd reason

definately a replica, genuine wings fetch a minimum of 600 all the way up to 800

also in the genuine wings, the adjustable blade is a different material to the rest of the wing.

you won't be able to test it there and then, but the replicas bend under moderate to high speeds, they're just nearly as strong as the OEM items

My car only goes up to 190 before it cuts out lol, is 150kph enough to make it flex? that's my personal speed limit when I'm hooning around

they will generally bend even at highway speeds, but honestly, assuming your car is a street car, if you're not too stubborn for a genuine product, saving yourself $500+ will suit your application just fine

Just as squareznboxes said. it would deff be a fake as there is no way an OEM GTR wing would be that cheap. its just one of those things that just doesnt happen

I thought fake ones were made from fibreglass?

and on the bottom of those spoiler stands, doesn't really look like fibreglass to me...

Even if it's fake, alloy is better than fibreglass lol

The first one does look like ally... you never know, he might just searched for prices and came across copies and thought that was the going price.. or just looking to move it fast..

Well yeah, I reckon the first one sounds more geniune than the ebay one lol.

At least even if you are buying a copy, it's made out of alloy, which is better than fibreglass (ebay).

the ebay 1's a copy for sure, i thought it didnt look too bad in picture.

They also offer to paint it but its pretty expensive

I can't and won't buy anything off ebay as i don't have a credit card and oversees shipping is lame to deal with. Oh well I've got money to spend on something else now
