does anyone here have a carbon fibre bonnet on their car, and if they do , do you drive it in the rain, casue ive put one on recently but have not riven it in the rain as the vents are indented in the bonnet and the water rushes down into the motor,

sounds stupid but i dot want to risk the electrical and or hot engine in cold rain......

Depending on the size of the vents i don't think water would hurt too much. You could seal it up with tape or mold some plastic from the bottom to fit. Or you could get some foam that would absorb alot of the water so it doesn't flow straight into the bay..

But... what do i know?

I drove Bris to Sydney in the rain including some high speed sections, no problems at all.

UAS bonnet with the large vent to rear of radiator position. Had some very heavy rain too

Just make sure the cutouts have been sealed otherwise it will absorb water which can cause delaminations and softening. It also reduces the glass transition temp and even worse, if there is enough water absorbed and you leave it parked out on a frosty morning or at the mountains the water can freeze and puff out the layers. Ever seen chipboard get wet at the edges?

actually everything on your car that is not standared from breaks, engine parts, wheels, steering wheels, tints, suspension, bonnets, flared gaurds, everything is defectable, it just depends what police officer you get when you get pulled over.

you just have to know someone to clear defects for 100 bucks, :D:):D:):D:):):)
