matboy - Its in alexandria.. Oh loving those shots of the classic car :)

haysey - man so jealous!!! post up more photos ;) How long you over there for??

lepper - hahah man you really getting addicted to HDR uh? Its good tho, and not overly done. Fisheye one is great.

bnr#@ - you did a wonderful job tho ;) panning at night must be very hard.

Haha yeah, i got more shots of the pelicans. Biggest farken ones i've ever seen!

Will post up tonight. I think my SS was about 1/1600th, you can see the rain lol. Didn't even notice that before.

Bangaz Boy - Sweet photos mate!

If i were you, i would tone down on the HDR processing on your car. Everything else is fine, but especially with your car being black, reflections are killing it. Possibly use a layer mask and the original image and merge them together, with the HDR being the background and everything and the properly exposed car in the photo instead of the HDR composite.

Do you know what i mean?

Yeah mate I know what you mean :D. At the time i was going for the reflections as I wanted to see how it came up after processing it as a HDR (went a bit overboard with the processing). I've been wanting to try a few of the car with the polariser to cut down the reflections to see how it would look, unfortunately car is off the road at the moment. Otherwise I might try give the layer mask a go, really need to improve my PS skills. thanks for the tip!

I agree with kory, tone down the hdr on the car. If you've got the original pics just cut your car out and paste it over one of these. You can just adjust the tones and shadows of your car to help it blend in.

the animal shots and waterfall stuff is all fantastic mate! 10/10.

Thanks for your comments guys, I like receiving constructive criticism, trying to improve as much as possible, so feel free to give me any advice or criticism. Otherwise I'm glad to hear that you guys like some of the photos.

Barra - I know what you mean about HDR, everyone seems to be doing it these days, and there is a lot of overdone stuff (including stuff I've done). I've only recently just got my camera so I've only just got into doing the HDRs and having some fun with them. I really want to improve on standard photos instead of relying on HDR to make them standout.

Well in that case!

Cool image - might be better with bigger DoF? Not sure where I should be looking.. maybe darkening the surrounding plants and leaving middle one to be brighter

Very very flat image - needs darker darks and brighter brights (very common HDR problem due to the nature of HDRs)

Don't think the horizon is flat but it works in this image imo

That is freaking amazing. Very impressive. Just need an interesting foreground and it would be super.

Another nice one.. don't think the non level horizon works in this one though

These two are also very flat

Background slightly flat. I don't mind the HDR car but the halo's around it aren't nice

This one is perfect I think. Only thing I would do maybe is crop the bottom and left slightly.. maybe

Good shot - like the teeth

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
